There was no smoke and mirrors. We're simply not as good without Whit, plus we've faced top run defenses in back to back weeks. McVay needs to keep hammering it inside. SF is too fast to consistently beat to the edge.

If I was coach, I'd make Goff run the stadium stairs the entire halftime. Goff needs some accountability!

How about you just rip into him in the locker room? Wearing out your QB when you need him in the second half doesn't sound like a remotely good idea to me.
