I figure that so long as the animals are humanely killed, I have no problem eating them. I'm not even close to a vegan, but I absolutely refuse to eat veal and foie gras because of the way they end up living before they're killed.

OK... just for size perspective... that pan is one of those designed to hold a large turkey. It's very big and like 5" deep. There's a massive amount here.

This is the lobster mac n cheese I made yesterday. It's loaded with lobster tails that I grilled before adding the meat into the mac. It tastes so good it should probably be illegal.

The top has a little crunch... but it's mostly creamy and cheesey. The bug meat blends in well. I cut the meat up into small chunks before adding it in.

Speaking of lobsters/bugs, did your eel get the one that you put in your aquarium tank or is it somehow still alive?

That bug molted. Right after they do that... their new shell takes several days to harden. That's when the eel stepped in for his lobster dinner.

We still have his molted shell though. It's weird... when they molt... their shell comes off perfectly in one piece. The lady who feeds my fish and parrot when we're out of town was taking care of my fish when it molted. She thought the lobster had a baby that was exactly the same size as he was. LOL. Since the shell comes off in one piece... it really looks like another lobster. We laughed about that for a long time when she called me to tell me about the lobster having a baby. She even sent me a picture of it to prove it to me. LOLOLOLOL.
