Huh? I'm pretty sure anyone will tell you the exact opposite...
That's a matter of perspective. A deep draft from my viewpoint is deep on both sides of the ball. This draft was deep for defense...that's a one sided draft.

You're not going to find many people that agree with you as this was viewed as one of the deepest draft classes in the last 20 years.

Ah the forgotten man. I would assume he'd go on the PUP list but I would think that would've happened already.

You counted 2 centers but listed Wells, Barnes and Jones. That increase offense to 27 and total roster of 57

Thanks, I've already made the edit. I was thinking Jones already had an injury designation of some sort but was surprised to see he hadn't.

I'll be happy if Roberson, Watts, Westbrooks, and Sam all make the team, especially Roberson because of his cover skills.

My guess. And this I strictly a guess. No inside info...... Conrath. Bryant. J. Cunningham. And Jones for the final cuts.

Westbrooks is the swing DT/DE. Sam is insurance in case Hayes/Sims is not ready. And the other 2 are self explanatory.

Looks good...Just cut Jones, Bayer, Reynolds and....Sam. would that be 53?

So CoachO..JT says that the Rams should cut Michael Sam (Westbrooks making the team) AND that he should clear waivers for the practice squad....Thats doesn't sound like he's good enough for the 53 man roster to me.

How was this draft not deep on offense too? Crazy deep at WR, crazy deep at RB, deep at QB though not very talented at the top, and OL was really deep as well. What am I missing here? Just compare this draft to 2013, it's not even close. The players that went in the top 10 last year are probably all mid-late first round picks in the 2014 draft. The best OT in that draft was probably the the 4th best OT in this draft, if that. I love Tavon, but he probably goes around the same area Brandin Cooks went in this past draft. I could go on and on, because there's not even much of a gray area in this discussion, you're just way off base, imo.

I agree with this 100%.

They're going to do something with Jones. Bayer is going to make it over Justice Cunningham who's hurt according to JT. There's no way they keep 6 CBs and 5 Safeties, IMO. Going to have to make a decision on one of the DBs there. And keeping 5 RBs for another season is inexcusable, IMO. Reynolds should be replaced by a LB that can play teams and provide some upside as LB depth.

I think it'll be Cunningham, Jones, Bryant, Conrath and Reynolds on the way out with the team adding another LB.

Cutting Bayer would be a huge mistake. More in another thread.
I cannot believe the Rams keep Davis over Gilbert. Unreal. The Rams will never win with Davis. I would have kept Gilbert and give him a year to see what he can do. We already know what Davis can do ____________________. Not being mean just stating a fact.

I'm with you on this. As stated earlier, the Rams could keep even 3 RB's IMO.

That's his opinion. I also think they are entertaining trade discussions. And who do you think they'd be getting more interest in. Sam or Westbrooks?

Just because a guy is cut, doesnt mean he's gone. Gilbert will get his shot on the PS most likely. He's nowhere close to being ready to take up a 53 spot. Davis has been very solid this preseason. Keeping Gilbert to backup Hill would have been very foolish. Gilbert has had a very rough time.
