I'd say after Yesterday his playing days for this team are over.
I can only hope but you would think that after seeing Evans time and time again blow his assignment that McVay would have said enough and insert a new OL into the game.

Nope

Can Nsheke play LG? If not, perhaps consider him at LT and bumping Jackson to LG? I don't have any expectation that Nsheke will come in and be a world beater. But he has had a long career in this league. Tony Romo certainly seemed high on him during the broadcast. And in his limited snaps yesterday, he looked fine to my eye, and at least capable of slowing down some incoming pass rushers which is more than Bobby Evans can say. I think we just need to find a way to get Evans off the field at this point. Just my opinion.

Evans playing is just baffling. He alone is killing the offense ever finding rhythm. He's not the only issue but he's certainly the main issue. I am just so confused how McVay mentions trying to fix a few things last week and the choice was to replace Aboushi with Brewer?!?!? I know Aboushi was average at best last week... probably a little less... but Evans is just absolutely atrocious. I just don't get it. Is Aboushi, Brewer, or Skura all incapable of playing left guard? Do they hike the ball and they start blocking like they are a RG? I just can't fathom the reason for Evans still playing. The only reason I can come up with is he just is better in the run game than those three. But at this point fuck the run game. We have no run game, it's dead, it's not coming back this season. Focus everything on keeping Stafford as clean as possible and hope he can provide a few sparks passing and maybe we'll start getting lucky in the run game.

Bleh, I just can't handle Evans anymore. My blood pressure was through the roof yesterday.

My suggestion yesterday, when it was obvious Evans was not up to the task, was to move Jackson to LG and put Nsheke in at LT. I think that's a winning oline... or at least one that won't get Stafford fucking killed.

So any timetable on when Shelton or Edwards can return?

yeah but this was the first time ive heard mcvay mention changes being made... and i imagine part of that was aimed at Evans.

No idea on Edwards, last I heard Shelton was projected to come back December 4th, week 13 against Seattle. So not soon enough.

God maybe I’m asking too much, but could you please give Evans a severe upper ankle sprain in practice this week? I’ll be good for the rest of the month.

If McVay starts Evans next week then its obvious he's trying to tank for a better second round pick.

I’m a huge Rams homer. With that said, the remainder of this season will be to fully assess who can play next year and who needs to go. I truly believe we are an Edge and S away from an elite defense. And we are a LT, LG (maybe Jackson works) OC, RG, TE, WR2 and RB away from an elite offense.
