If Skura is healthy--- he's better and physically stronger than Brian Allen and Shelton.

I have a feeling, and don't get mad at me LOL, the line is going to come together starting this week. Not sure why, but Carolina comes at the exact right time. Bye week, then on to Frisco.
I think a good reason why is the quality of the Panthers front. These guys will feel like a vacation after SF and Dallas.

I really hope Skura works-out nicely because I am first, and foremost, a Rams' fan.

However, Sullivan was signed in the off-season, and was the projected starter heading into Training Camp.

Skura and, for that matter, Aboushi went into this regular season as unsigned veteran free agents at a position (O-Line) where there is far from an excess-of-talent in the NFL. The fact that Aboushi was coming-off a knee injury, should be mentioned.
Aboushi has been on 8 NFL teams now since his arrival in 2013 his longest tour was with the Jets.

Hey guys.. do they still have an open roster spot? Two guys off yesterday, one guy on?
Earlier I responded 'Yes' but I may have been wrong because Brycen Hopkins may have served his three-game-suspension, and be back on the 53-man-roster. Would still leave the Rams with just seven healthy OL, and they could activate a Practice Squad player (Brewer or Arcuri) for Sunday. Regardless, it's kind of a scary option.

I may need a hug from someone. A heterosexual, manly hug ... but one with real warmth and compassion.

I would be good with:

LT...Noteboom
LG..Aboushi
C....Skura
RG...Jackson
RT...Havenstein.

No Bobby Evans please.
Skura being more adept (hopefully) with line calls due to experience should certainly be helpful.
Im surprised Aboushi hasn't found his way in yet.
This is nothing against the young guys who have been thrown into the fire and certainly are trying, they just are not up to the task at this point. Particularly when there is more than one green guy playing at the same time.

Evans gave up 2 pressures on 11 downs vs Dallas....that is survivable for a full game as long as their isn't 40 passes. Its the nature of backup players.....all have had stretches in games where they have looked good and stretches were they look overwhelmed.

Replacing Funk with Skura feels like a good call.
About time bathe Rams get cut Funk.I will say he is a solid practice squad type. He is not worth a roster spot.

Jake from (Iowa) State Farm is still a Ram & he is the same type player. They just play a different position.

Funk was never going to make it as a RB in the NFL. Just from watching the preseason alone.

Something seemed odd with Edward’s when he went out. He feel down and pretty much landed on his butt/side. He didn’t hit his head and didn’t get hit in the dead by anyone. Yet when he landed, he immediately grabbed his head. I’m worried about him. I wouldn’t be surprised if this were something that lasted several weeks or even throughout the season. It didn’t seem like the usual get hit in the head with a knee or head to ground. More like he was already dealing with continuing issues from the head problem last week.

I’m not wishing any ill will upon Edwards, but when a player is getting concussed without any form of impact to the head but any jarring impact, it can mean it’s time to hang up his cleats.

We have struggled to run the ball and Funk had zero carries.

Thats not a good sign for a running back and signals the Rams saw him as special teams player only. I wish him well, but definitely think we can get more out of his roster spot.

So, certainly good enough to spot start and make rosters and have a career.....it sounds like he is just good enough to be the stop gap guy until a team finds an upgrade.
I hope so but since the Rams are his 8th team, that means seven other teams were OK moving-on from him.
A lot of those teams (Jets, Raiders, Seahawks, Cardinals and Texans) have not had strong and deep O-Lines.

I got my fingers crossed but that's what I do when I don't have any idea, and am just hoping for the best.

Yep, I agree.
I was trying to be optimistic.
But at the very least he will have a lot more experience making line calls etc.
