Ugh, rookie move there by Goff but to be expected. Jut glad he didn't get hurt holding the ball that long.

At least he has some pocket awareness. That's a nice change. But throw it away. Tavon fucked that drive.

We never run RB screens which is surprising with Gurley and Benny being both great receivers.
And for a running team when was the last time we did a play action roll out.?

That was a welcome to the NFL moment. Didn't hurt him though and I think he'll be stronger for it.

A normal sized receiver catches that comeback route. Tavon did a horrible job shielding off corner and has no catch radius. Good throw tbh. And I love Tavon im not hating. Just not something he can do he's too small

The gameplan thus far clearly is calling for Goff to get rid of the ball almost as soon as he takes the snap. C'mon, Rob, let him take a shot downfield.

Were there guys open that he missed or was coverage good as well?

He's slippery in the pocket though, he's escaped pressure to buy time.. As he gets more comfortable that's going to come in handy, like what I'm seeing so far.

Well, there is the little matter of Goff needing to establish a game day rapport with his fly guys. That's not exactly automatic.

The consistency regardless needs to be constant. That could be the HCs fault at that point. Goff is playing fairly well. Even for his first actual NFL snaps. They just need to be relentless.

I can't figure out how we've decided to attack the Dolphins. We just seem to throw plays at them, as opposed to a strategy.

I personally would get Goff outside the pocket. Something to build on what he's comfortable with.
