No dead money, 2.75 mill base, at a cost of $161,765 per game, the Rams should be saving 1.45 mill
You be wrong about that!$50 says that DJax goes to the open media and starts throwing darts at the Rams.
Some people just never grow up.
Actually post trade deadline, he does. They do this so teams can't do some backroom deal late in the year where one team releases a player who then signs with another team that nay ask that team to release that player. So they lose that control and the player must go through waivers regardless of yrs of service.DJax won’t have to go through waivers. He is a Veteran player with more than 4 years in the league so he is a FA.
Rules are different post trade deadline. Look it up. All players are subject to waivers if released post trade deadline.Yeah I’ve seen it written in a couple of places as well. I just put it down to incompetent journalism.
He is not subject to waivers.
Yes I’ve been alerted to that now on a couple of occasions. CheersRules are different post trade deadline. Look it up. All players are subject to waivers if released post trade deadline.
I take it back. He's a man.You be wrong about that!

His base is guaranteed so we eat that unless somebody claims him on waivers which is a very real possibility. No dead money, 2.75 mill base, at a cost of $161,765 per game, the Rams should be saving 1.45 mill
Actually, it really does. I may need a hobby.Well you learn something new everyday!! That should make @Allen2McVay happier. Lol
Which is infinitely more than I’ll ever understand that stuff. Ever.I've seen $1.4-$1.7m, but if this week has taught me anything, it's that I understand less about the cap than I thought I did last week.
"Willing to stay" - In other words, we did him a favor and tried not to make him look as bad (to the fans, and to future teams).
Interesting and well deserved as far as I'm concerned. His ego directly hurt that unit's depth he can get fucked. Hope it's the Texans.Correct it's a final dick move since he played this game. Now he can go to one of the worst teams in the league if they want the little nazi.
The last minute talk of being willing to stay IMO was 100% when he realized they were going to wait until after the deadline to cut him and make him go thru waivers. He realized he'd gambled with an empty hand and the Rams called him on it.Interesting and well deserved as far as I'm concerned. His ego directly hurt that unit's depth he can get fucked. Yeah your read on that makes a lot of sense. Probably a situation where he thought he could push the old TE coach and found out he's a head coach now.The last minute talk of being willing to stay IMO was 100% when he realized they were going to wait until after the deadline to cut him and make him go thru waivers. He realized he'd gambled with an empty hand and the Rams called him on it.
This would have been nice if they showed who those picks ended up being for both teams.Every trade the Rams have made since hiring Sean McVay in 2017

Since hiring Sean McVay back in 2017, the Rams have adopted the philosophy of staying aggressive and exploring just about any trade possibility that comes across the table. GM Les Snead has stayed busy in his role, making more trades than just about any team in the NFL.
In the last four-plus years, the Rams have made a total of 21 trades involving players. For the most part, their deals have worked out for the better. They’ve acquired players such as Jalen Ramsey, Matthew Stafford, Brandin Cooks and Marcus Peters, also quietly adding Austin Corbett and Kenny Young, who became starters in L.A.
Their most recent deal was a blockbuster move for Von Miller, adding him to a stacked defense just before the trade deadline. With Miller now in the mix, it’s a good time to look back at all the deals the Rams have made since 2017.
