Smart to release The Mandalorian weekly, from their perspective anyway. They want their shows to be events people talk about and anticipate from week to week. Plus they force people to keep the subscription for the duration of the show then keep them in with something else once it ends.
I've read other streaming services could be going to that same format , even Netflix

releasing new original TV shows weekly , instead of all at once

watched the The Mandalorian , really enjoyed it , the ending will keep people talking all week

next , wife wants to watch the New Live action Lady and the Tramp movie

then

we're watching an old classic I haven't seen in years , The Apple Dumpling Gang with Don Knotts and Tim Conway

then

I think I will give The Mandalorian another go

Oh man, that ending... Also, they've quietly released a bunch of old movies in 4k. I'm not sure if they're just upscaled or if they remastered them, but some aren't even available in 4k disc. Apparently they've messed with the Greedo/Han scene again in Star Wars (yeah I know, A New Hope...but whatever).

That’s from Lucas, Disney is contractually obligated to show only those versions of the first 6 movies as per their agreement at the time of purchase.

Lol yes, Nick Nolte. I just finished it. Makes sense it would be the ending of the other episode. I thought they said we were getting 8 hour-long episodes. These two equal about 70 minutes. Maybe some will be a little over an hour.

Just watched episode 1 of the Mandalorian. It's probably the best Start Wars show of any length. I don't think it was here, but I read about a bunch of people complaining about the lack of dialogue and the overwhelming amount of close up shots of his helmet. I don't have an issue with either of these things.

Each scene does multiple things. If you really pay attention there's a ton of info packed into each scene. It's really overwhelmingly good.
