So we sign a guy that is a legitimate deep threat, possibly the best deep threat of all time, for our QB who might have the strongest arm in the NFL. And Rams fans hate it.
As countless have said. He's good, if he's healthy. He's played 8 games in the last 2 seasons combined! Now that's something to get excited about. I wonder if Reggie Scott will be at the signing to make sure he doesn't hurt himself then.

Wouldn't call him the best of all time but he's been up there in the past. Question is, a year older now, does he still have that same burner speed or has he lost a step or two and does it matter cuz he was already blazing fast. Don't hate the signing, but not loving it either. TBD to see how it goes. Hoping it works in our favor big time.

He can be a deep threat when he's on the field but the concern is how long will that be. Even then, his numbers the last 4 years are not impressive; 114 receptions for about 1850 yards and only 10 td's in 43 games.

Solid pick, looks like the 11 personnel is here to stay. Was under the impression that that we would go primarily on the 12 personnel if we didn't sign an FA receiver or re-signed Reynolds; I'm sure DJax is an upgrade at WR3 over him.

I'm not saying he'll be counted on like that. Just saying like Denario, he can't seem to stay healthy. Am I wrong?

They're two entirely different situations. One had multiple acl surgeries and was gone after 3 or 4 years with basically no knees left.

The other had a long career and only recently had soft tissue injuries, which can be healed.

It's not a big deal dude. Hakuna matata.

Nothing to be upset about. It's a 1 year deal probably for only 2 mill or so. I doubt that much money is guaranteed and it won't stop them from drafting another deep threat in the middle rounds. If he is healthy and I know that's a big IF he can be a great deep threat for Stafford.

Snead just wanted to rub it in Devanney's face.

I guess the move makes sense. DeSean Jackson knows the offense and still can get deep, plus he's cheap enough. They couldn't rely on landing an NFL ready deep threat in the draft and even if they get one there is no guarantee he'd have an impact his year. I just hope Jackson stays healthy and produces in a limited role.

I get that the injuries are different. I'm simply saying they are the same as they can't seem to stay off the inactive list, obviously more recently for Jackson. Playing only 8 games in the last 2 years is missing a lot. Hopefully it was all bad luck for his and the Rams sake. I know Reggie is going to keep a close eye on him. Hakuna Matata to you as well. Now I want a pork chop for some reason lol

Simple words easily appreciated
...and no excessive exclamation points.

This is why I like it. Yet it may take a spot out of the draft that could be an up and comer speed guy.
I’d rather use the draft on CB, OL, and LB depth. We don’t have many pics and WRs take time to develop. I don’t want to use one of our “top” pics on another WR this year. Jackson is cheap, we know who he is and do not have to wait for him to develop. Woods and Kupp just signed new contracts, and we just drafted Van...I think we can wait on developing a 4th WR

Really like this signing with a limited role in mind. Those hamstrings will respond better in the warmer climate and he'll be monitored by one of the best trainers in the league, Reggie Scott.
Another hole filled before the draft. We will find out how much the team likes Trishton Jackson after the draft is over for the WR5 job.
