CBs are the alignments that are hardest to follow.
Staley did a lot of left and right. So on any given play, depending on which hash the ball is one either one could be the boundary, other field
First part of this year Morris did that. And probably (if memory serves) part of 2021.
But mostly, I think Ramsey was the boundary CB when he was not the star. Like last year Kendrick and Hill would be to the field.
But there are exceptions. I think Ramsey has followed DK Metcalf and Hopkins in those games (big WRs) so he'd go where they go a lot of the time.
You could look at plenty of photos and see different variations since 2020.
The hardest to understand is when the ball is in the middle of the field and the defense is in base (4 DBs) and try to figure out what they are doing. Is it left and right? Is it to the formation (strong or weak)?
Secondary and coverage is hard for me.
