I only want him for those games since he seemed to know how to beat up on that type of team since his defenses played dirty too. I'm obviously joking about it since we can't take on a coach just for games against one team lol. For how terrible the guy was, he did bring us out of the basement and knew defense. He sucked everywhere else.

Ok - dumb azz was so stubborn & a control freak. Funny how his son almist got J.Joyner to quit & Sean Mcvay was left with such crappy DB’s he franchised Tru Johnson for a 2nd time & had to franchise of all players Joyner who The Rams got a 3rd rd comp pick for as a FS,not a CB. Real smart defensive coach,being showed up by a Offensive HC in Sean Mcvay.

We get it, you didn't like him. However, he brought us from the gutter of gutters and at least made us less of a laughing stock. McVay took it from there and improved upon it. Don't know why you are so salty about something that is a part of Rams history that neither you nor I can change. If he didn't bomb out where he did, McVay may never have happened.

Yes he brought us from the 1-15 and 2-14 bullshit up to the SOSAR. Jeff Fisher was a good DC in a different era.

Yes I agree he was a good DC in a different era which is why I joke about him being our DC just for the Whiners game. Fisher helped get us where we are today whether people want to admit it or not. Gotta remember the shittiest , not as shitty, to way better than shitty times to appreciate how far this franchise has come recently.

Sometimes I don’t think it’s all that hard.Then there’s other times look out.
The NINER’s 2 years ago wiped out AD99 & SJD69. There is not much you can do as a D”Lineman when you get a couple of those O@Lineman going.

Jeff Fisher was a much sought after HC candidate when hired by the Rams.

I remember the members of the old St Louie newspaper's board being thrilled we got him instead of Miami (the other main suitor).

That prehistoric offensive philosophy of his was painful to watch at times.

Not before Bradford got taken out by a cheap shot out of bounds. He was finally starting to put it together before that shit and that took the Rams back to the dumpster.
