Think it's a safe bet the Colts trade up to #1 for a QB now too.

I thought the Colts were tanking next season? They hire Saturday and then go downhill for Cay Will.

Colts about to hire another young OC type so the owner can lose patience in him and fire him. Some things never change.
Reich was 58 year old Oc and that didnt work out either so...

You Param and Kupp
The funny part is I'm not a big Raheem fan. He's a great guy I've seen to many interviews of him to think otherwise. But the shit he takes from everybody else and a lot of the really bad takes make me stick up for him. The head in the sand ignoring the personnel issues he had to deal with also give me sympathy for him. Wouldn't have cared one way or another if he left but yeah the way this board acts about him is pathetic and makes me argue for the defense and players more than I normally would.

I am just not sure what issues Raheem had.

However, I will say he never had a decent OLB. Floyd was hobbling until the end of the season and Lewis and the other guy just sucked. In addition, he lost Long Durant and Hill for a bit but he still had Ramsey and Kendrick would have been an okay slot guy. I am just not sure why he didn't try Rochelle in more of a man to man situation than his zone defense.

What I can't get over is he basically neutered Donald with the 2.3 seconds to get a pass off by the opposing QB. That is the one thing that really soured me on Raheem. If he tried a slightly more aggressive defense and it still didn't work then I wouldn't have had a problem with Morris. But 2.3 seconds is just too fast for a lineman to get to the QB.

I've discussed the OLB problem for days and told I was wrong now you bring up he never had a decent one :D Talked about the lack of a #2 CB and told I was wrong. It just never gets old being told the personnel is fine then seeing others complain about the personnel and it being Morris' fault.

Matt Corral is there too, IIRC he would have been a 1st rounder had he not gotten hurt in a bowl game, and then pretty much red shirted his rookie year

He only didn't have a #2 for about 3 to 4 weeks and we won a couple of those game

After 3-3 we should have been good to go with a fairly healthy defense other than a hobbled Lewis

I would have put them in press man to man for 25% of the time especially 3rd and short and let Donald wreck havoc. And you know he does even if he is the only decent pass rusher.

I am going to harp over and over about 2.3 seconds for a pass to get off. Morris was just letting these crappy QBs pass short left and right and go down the field until they got to the red zone.

Rush
McCoy
Daulton
Crapola (twice)
Brady in the 4th qtr (yes Brady was crappy last year)

I would have said - okay you are a crappy QB - you beat us. I am not going to give you easy stuff over and over.
