That was an absolute insane finish. I don’t know why we keep putting ourselves in these dire situations on games we should win easily. Thanks for the defense for not screwing it up on the last drive after giving them a minute left to score a field goal. Will take the wind and move on and whoop some Niner ass next week!!!!
Because it is the NFL, and there are NO GAMES YOU SHOULD WIN EASILY. That is a Fan fallacy.

No.. he's a turnover machine right now and another WR was WIIIIIIDE OPEN. The int was an incredibly bad decision and throw.

Not giving Stafford a pass. It was a bad decision, and as mentioned in original post, he missed Van. But it was a good as a punt inside the 5.

Next week actually starts the playoffs basically. It's pivotal for so many reasons. Of course it has to be the whiners but to take the second seed instead of being a wildcard is huge. Also to go in on this massive won streak would be tremendous. To beat a team that we haven't also would be slaying yet another monster.

Everyones been talking about the dolphins and how hard it is to win 7 in a row etc. Then when one person in the media has the nuts to say who have they beaten they get utterly decimated by their fellow peers. They are told how hard it is to win week to week in the NFL let alone 7 straight no matter the competition. All true hope if the Rams beat these loser whiners we get the same respect a shitty dolphins team got.

As far as the whiners man I hope over confidence kills them this is so big I'm already having anxiety. Debozo and big mouth ward will come to play. They would like nothing more than to basically put a huge gigantic wrench in our season. This game is enormous man!!!

In his post game press conference, on the Pick-06, McVay said "We actually had a mis-communication, we didn't run the right route at the #2 spot and that enabled Clark to be able to kind of trigger on Higbee running the out cut from the #3 spot" That is the thing, we don't know everything that is going on in any individual play. Sounds like it wasn't 100% on Stafford.

I heard that too. OBJ and Skowronek were both outside Higbee on the play.

Sorry... when there's a player wide open for a first down, there's no world where that's as good as a punt. It's a best case scenario of a really bad play.

I got a new hat this week and put it on for the first time during the first touchdown drive of the second half. That sucker isn’t leaving my head on game day until the end of the Super Bowl.

Gotta believe folks!
Hey, no way! You keep that sucker on from now until we win the Super Bowl!!
All us Rams fans will thank you for your help in this endeavor......

Signed. That catch on 4th down was so clutch. There just aren't many receivers with hands like OBJ. Straight rare man.
Merlin,
So let me ask you a question then. What do we do about Robert Woods? What if we can only afford to sign either Woods or OBJ?
Which one do you go for and why??
What's your solution on this situation?

Imo we need all three of Kupp, Woods and OBJ next year. And Whit back. No idea how we come up with the money.

I would like to see us keep Odell and to do that I would move Woody. Not sure how possible that is cap-wise and all that. But Odell is a better receiver and we're a better team with him sticking around.

Interesting.....this is kinda how I'm leaning too. Woodsy is a heck of receiver though, what is it that Odell does that is that much better?
Thanks,

He's faster, has better hands, and more big play potential. Woods might block better and run better routes, but I'd put OBJ as the better WR. Oh, and he's a bit younger too.

I'm not very impressed with OBJ. I think he's got really great hands, but he always seems to see things differently from QBs leading to a lot of head scratchers and he's struggled to get separation after all his injuries. I would keep woods over OBJ in a heartbeat. Especially when you add in the leadership and all the things he gives in this offense.

Yeah I really did not like the timing of it, and it was a clean block so to make that call in that situation I felt was fucking stupid.

Getting a W against Vinobitch is no easy feat. :laugh2:

Well the league has tried to get rid of those crack back type blocks cuz guys are defenseless and as enticing as it is to just decleat a guy all you have to do is get in the guy’s way there’s no need to actually throw a block

I think they do different things, I love the way Woody attacks those screens and jet sweeps. He knows he can take them to the house cuz he’s done it so you better tackle him cuz he ain’t going down. Sometimes it’s hard to get a good shot on a guy who thinks he’s gonna score and you end up just trying to get him down. That’s woody and Kupp too.

Doesn't a lot of cap come off next season? Anyone know what our cap is for 2022?
It's supposed to be just over 208mil and the Rams have about 2.5 in space as things stand right now.

There's a lot they can do to open up a lot of money. We'll see who stays and who goes.
