Man, have I been chomping at the bit to chime in here, wish I could have done so when the emotion was fresh. But freakin' awesome!!!!!
Not only did we come back from a 13-point hole, we did it in their house, and we broke the Vinobitch curse. As far as the Saints fans whining about the non-call (and it was a missed call I'll admit), they should have thanked the refs for getting home field advantage in the first place. First, against the Rams, the terrible spot on the Hekker run off the fake FG, which was a momentum shifter in that game. Second, in week 17 against Pittburgh, when home field was on the line, the officials bent over backwards for the Saints to push them over the finish line. Without that, they are flying to LA for the NFCC. In tight games this year, they lived by the bad call ... and tonight, it didn't go their way. So suck it Saints fans and suck it Asshole Face, aka Mr. Bountygate.
Now, to our guys ... way to show some serious grit. Down 13, on the road, in a hostile environment and in a high pressure situation, and they sucked it up and came back. GZ ... what can you say ... that was probably the most clutch kick in franchise history. Goff threw some great passes under serious duress when the game was on the line. And our D ... again ... only 48 yards rushing surrendered and didn't let Thomas go ape-shinola on them either.
Bottom line, the Rams got it done. And now they are heading to Atlanta!!!! FCCCKKKK YEAH, BABY!!!!
