Hopkins will be fine if we need him. We might see a little of Harris, might not be a bad thing though obviously he's still only viewed as a future prospect at receiver

Hopkins bulked up this offseason to be a more effective all-around tight end. He should be fine.

I just want to celebrate the fact that, 5 years in, McVay keeps putting really, really good football teams on the field. That's tough to do.

No doubt, it's an organizational success as well.

You gotta think that the Rams sports science and medical stuff is making *some* difference. They just seem to get hurt less. Maybe I'm crazy.

When Williams gets back, how about we keep Dont'e Deayon on the active
and let David Long go to the practice squad.
Love how Donte doesn't allow RAC after the underneath catch.
The way the defense works is yea we give up some dink and dunk,
but a big difference between this year and last is last year we gave very little RAC
on that stuff. we were on top off it and made the tackle.
Agreed on Deayon. You know it seems to me at least like Deayon shows well when he gets opportunities. Granted he's too small to be a guy you depend on as a starter but goddamn was it nice to see a corner breaking on routes underneath.

Long even when he's in position is just there. The guy doesn't disrupt shit you can complete passes right in front of his face all day long.

Rochell showed a lot of toughness bouncing back after getting abused by Toney early on. He kind of lucked out with Toney getting injured tbh but still it was nice to see him respond.

And Rapp... Best game he's had since he was under Wade. I mean damn he was all over the place. Morris did a good job putting him in the box but he also did good things when he was over the top. Man I hope he's finally adjusting to the new DC because having Rapp play well would be huge for this defense.

We sent the Giants to scrimmage mode in the fourth quarter. Just wondering where @HX76 is and how much shit he was talking at the pub.

Love... LOVE.. seeing backups get into the game..
Especially seeing Noteboom get an entire series in and it lead to a touchdown.

The Rams didn't even play that great today and they won 38-11.

This is merely October football.

We all know the few playoff caliber teams that start peaking in (DEC-JAN) are the ones to keep your eye on.

We did what we should to an injured and deflated team like the giants...

lets keep it going - we have a stretch here to tank advantage of.

All I know is that Don Shula, the winningest NFL HC in history, had 43 wins at this point in his 5'th season.

Sean McVay has 48 !

I am a huge Sean McVay fan; and I am thrilled he is the Rams' Head Coach.

Objectivity forces me to point out that when Shula began his coaching career, it was a 14-game season.

So when Shula was six games into his fifth season, his record was 43-16-3 (62 total games).

McVay's regular season record six games into his fifth season is 48-22 (70 total games).

Damn Objectivity!

Nevertheless, my OP stands as correct. Asterisk or not, McVay has as good of a chance as any to beat Shula's incredible record. jmo.

Your comment (48 vs. 43 wins) was absolutely correct. As was mine (70 vs. 62 total games).

How terrific are we!?!

Good Morning, Mr. Allen2McVay ... Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to count every NFL asterisk and report back here immediately. As always, should you or any member of your IM Force be caught or killed, the secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions. This tape will self-destruct in five seconds.

That's been my impression of Long as well. Deayon looked pretty good today. Although the Giants were without their top THREE wideouts.

IMHO from what I've seen, Long should be behind Deayon on the depth chart.
