Very happy that we won but it was Jacksonville a team we should destroy. Im more excited about next week's game and I expect a dub there as well.

I'm expecting Rochell to really break out next year. He was a ball hawk in college. I expect him to develop into a very special player.

Benny Sko is having a standout rookie year. He's the type of underrated player that can sneak up on defenses. I really like what I'm seeing from him. Next year when they have Harris back they will be loaded at WR.

Blanton is showing the thing that made him an UDFA, i.e. poor hands. They might move Harris back to TE.

If McVay is serious about improving the run game then he needs a FB if he's going to continue to run a power blocked run attack.

Michel is showing why I've been saying he's a #1 RB who can be a bell cow for McVay. He runs with power like a much bigger man than he is. He's 5'11" about 215 lbs, with 4.5 speed.

Injuries have shown just how deep this roster is, which the so-called pundits claimed was a weakness. The Rams have 11 players on IR including starters, Woods, Hollins, and Akers. But the Rams are 8-4 with the very real chance of going 13-4 this year. I felt in September this team could go 14-3 or 13-4. If the playoff started now the Rams would play Dallas as the top wildcard. That is a team the Rams match up well against and it's an indoor game. So the path to the SB is wide open and the Rams regardless of taking the division or not are going to be a tough out. Remember the Seahawks took the division and the Rams knocked them out of the playoffs.

Am I worried? No, concerned but not worried. IMO a lot will hinge on how Morris plays the defense. If he tightens up then I think they should be in the SB this year.

I think Shelton is a more powerful run blocker than Allen ---will McVay make a change?

Couple of things I loved:

- Michel should obviously be the starter from this point forward, like Akers he is a much better fit for this offense than Henderson
- 6 OL alignment with Noteboom just works, hopefully a staple for us from this point forward
- Skowronek looks like a guy who might take a few years to break out but the signs are there that he could be a big part of the future
- Stafford with a big day statistically even with a lot of missed plays but most importantly taking care of the ball and looking accurate again

Yes, we beat up on a bad team but we needed the confidence boost and momentum for a tough stretch going forward. Tough break going from the supposed best team in the league to fighting to make the playoffs but we can see McVay making the adjustments and I still have faith in this team to pull off something special this year.
