Some encouragement from Talib. I’d say that’s 75% true but Gurley took it to another level when healthy and the assumption was Akers was going to as well. So I agree it isn’t doom and gloom for the offense but a good RB is still a good RB.

Man, I thought it was April 1st when I first read this.
On one hand I feel horrible for us as fans. What a blow to our offense. But really, I feel horrible for Cam.
Imagine being his age, about to be a star in an explosive offense, probably leading to a nice payday and this.
Now you just hope you can recover and play football again.

That is one quality young man right there. Easy to root for.

Henderson is not just a finesse back. Go back and look at the film. He had what I consider to be the best goal line
run of the season last year.
Could we use a plow horse? Yep. But I thought that even with Akers in play.

Since he's been drafted, every single time a window opens where it's his chance the offense is start 'n stop. He just doesn't get it done man. I know a lot of folks like the kid. I do too, just as a change of pace only.

I think Jones is the guy. They will keep Henderson as the slasher.

Jones has had a year in the system and a year to get into nfl shape. Even he said he's coming in different this year.

Sounds horrible but as of right now Akers is a non factor for the 2021 season. I’ll focus on the backs the Rams have and any options they look at. Get well Akers…on to Hendo & the crew.
