Completely crazy idea... Brandon Jacobs. He's probably not going to make a roster as a DE but if he's in shape and still interested in playing he could be a short yardage back.

Theres plenty of time to review our needs and plenty of vets available. For now, Hendo moves up the chart and the rest get an opportunity to show somethin.
Of all the options Ive read for vet aquisitions, I like Bells skill set for our offense. Not sure if his mind fits, but this situation could be ideal to get the last best days out of him.

Henderson is not just a finesse back. Go back and look at the film. He had what I consider to be the best goal line
run of the season last year.

Have to admit the one position I never played even in sandlot was RB…Xavier Jones could step up or maybe they make a deal for Royce Freeman…California kid 6’0 238lbs give the group some size.I hear @den-the-coach is available. Might be too seasoned, though.
oh how quickly they turn on you. Akers loss sucks but there is time and options to soften the blow and every team deals with a certain level of injuries. It’s the freakin NFL.

The only bad part of waiting for cut downs is that gives our new RB less time to learn the offense.
Injuries do happen, the thing is the RB position is the fuel that keeps the engine going for McVay's offense to work effectively. Why we went into the this far in the year without 3 solid starters is beyond me.
Henderson is has weaknesses but is a solid #2. These other guys people have high hopes in that are UFA's is unfounded. These guys that prove them selves already have after a year + at the RB position, that position unlike a lot of others is a fast producing one. If they haven't done it yet the chances of them doing something is very low.
I think we trade for someone tbh.
