It’s just bad luck at an inopportune time. Wish him a speedy and healthy recovery.

I think Dickerson cursed poor Akers by throwing him that jersey in that new uniform promo video.

All sorts of bad mojo.

Rams will bring in a RB. Won;t be Cam Akers quality, of course, but they’ll bring in somebody adequat.

If a team has to have a player lost for the season, then RB is the easiest to replace with the least dropof.

Yeah, no slight to Cam. Damn we’ll miss him... But…

If this oline was good enough to open holes for Cam… they can open for other solid guys like Henderson and Jones. Plus one more.

He IS the easiest to replace of our key guys and again that’s not a slight… Just, we see RB’s emerge all the time behind good olines. If we got a good oline… we need to simply go do THAT.

I have one more name worth monitoring: Damien Williams on the Bears.

I think we’ll add someone. We may be patient. I’d love Williams.

DH can be a beast. I just don't trust him to stay healthy.

I have a feeling it will be running back by committee. Henderson will probably be the main guy but someone else needs to step up. We can't count on Henderson to be available for 17 games. Stafford might have to throw a lot more than expected.

They also might have to look at a low cost one year vet. Guys like Gurley and Bell can play in the passing game but their best years are behind them as far as running the ball. Neither could reach 4 yards per carry last year. But they can catch passes and pick up blitzes.

.

I think Jones is the guy. They will keep Henderson as the slasher.

Jones has had a year in the system and a year to get into nfl shape. Even he said he's coming in different this year.

If funk isn't ready please get all day Rams. He is the answer.

DH as the starter really, Wasn't there an article a little while ago that had him as a preseason cut?

There's no reason to make a move for another back, until teams start cutting down their rosters.

I'm not confident in Hendo staying healthy at all, but we sure need him to contribute this season. Hopefully, we'll get lucky and he can suit up every week.

Maybe Jones will be the guy we need.

I was really looking forward to seeing Cam in the backfield with Stafford.
This just plain sucks.

Mcvay got production out of cj Anderson coming off his couch. Cam or no cam I still expect a top 15 running game. Next man up.
