So, Tom Brady is leaving Bucs camp for a couple of weeks for a 2 week hiatus for "personal reasons." The team claims this was the plan all along.

I'll just say its... weird.

Related to his retirement/unretirement?
Related to his involvement in the Dolphins' tampering issue?
Family problems?
Merely due to his age?

While I'm not going to make a prediction, I will say that if, in two weeks or so, he suddenly re-retires, I'd be only somewhat shocked (and, yes... I fully acknowledge that this is a sentiment born from wishful thinking).

Just weird.

I'm on board with it being weird and I'm in the same camp with you when it comes to "wishful thinking" that it's something troubling for him.

I want him to have an awful year.

He's the goat and all that... but I'm hoping for a little comeuppance.

I would enjoy it immensely if he re-retired. I have an internet Bucs friend who needs some humble pie.....lol

Rough guess: He has three kids correct? School year is starting. Giselle asked him to be around for that stuff if he was going to unretire.

As much as I dislike him, he is still human (although he sold his soul to the devil/Bellicheat) and has family responsibilities.

Meh.
It's not like he's going to play much in the preseason, if at all.

He’s got extra privileges…even more now. Taking some TC time off to get his hair and nails done is all.

Guy like Brady is gonna do what he wants. Especially since he ran the old bear out of town. He probably runs the show on offense.

I think he knows this season is going to be rough though. So rest up Tommy Boy. :laugh2:

Yeah, schools start here in FL this week (my granddaughter started yesterday) and there’s usually a back to school thing in a week and for a lot of families this time is a lot with schedule changes…

I mean, it makes sense, although, not sure why he’d need to be totally away from the facilities for 2 weeks…
