Just my take...

Brady was very close to playing in MIA. That's where he wanted to be. Winning rings is what he's all about. MIA's blazing fast WR's and hungry roster is what Brady is missing.

To add to that point, all the hype to a very large degree is in the AFC. Many new faces and loaded decks across the board. That's what Brady wanted. Now he can sleep walk to a division title. What's the point?

With that said, the Bucs are a top contender in the NFC. Brady's fallen into a rut because there's really no new energy surrounding that Tampa team. It's the same guys minus Gronk, which is a huge minus.

He doesn't need to be playing in Preseason anyway. It's a waste of time, let someone else have those reps. I don't blame him at all, although it is surprising.

There were times last year it felt like KC wasn't a hungry team either. Sometimes you need that turning over of the roster to infuse some youthful energy, guys who have something to prove. The Bucs haven't had that. It's a stale environment. They still have one heck of a football team, but not a hungry team.

Brady has been sleep walking to division titles for, literally... His entire career. He loves that shit. A guaranteed home playoff game in front of those racist mooks up in Foxboro was his entitlement.

Now he presides over a terrible NFC South division where Jameis fucking Winston is his toughest peer? I'm thinking that Tom Lady is loving this shit. No way he wants that AFC smoke at his age.

1,000% - Tampa Bay has the easiest schedule maybe in the NFL. Once he saw the schedule he this makes my decision to comeback simple.
No Brianer for him. Able to run his own show for one last hurrah. No Brainer. His records will never be beat.
Tom Brady has kept himself in excellent shape & reads defenses great. He has put in the time.
He doesn’t need an OC either.I don’t believe all the Bruce haters either? It might make playing a lot easier without that foul mouth dude yelling, blaming, & talking crap away from the Lockeroom.

He was basically able to get 6-0 in his division and then only have to go 5-5 in non-division games

As a good team, they easily should go 7-3 in non-division games.

So basically they were 13-3 before the season even started.

Then given home games like you said in the playoffs where NE in January is almost impossible to win

No wonder they got to the Super Bowl all the time.

They only times they lost in the playoffs was when they had to go on the road.

He did want to go to MIA, though. He's looking into purchasing part of the team. He attempted to meet with Brian Flores and everything. MIA lost their first round pick over all of it. Brian Fores got fired because he wouldn't go along with it, which is good on his part from a moral standpoint.

I agree he's in a better situation in TB, much better. But the reality is he did want to be traded to MIA. I do believe he'll be in MIA next year. So he's kinda stuck right now.

Things Tom Brady DIDN’T do in the last few months…

He didn’t retire.
He didn’t get his HC put out to pasture.
He didn’t conspire with the Dolphins.
He didn’t take an unscheduled break from training camp.

So innocent, our Tommy. :eyeroll:

So where's the 17th game in your scenario? :hiding:

If he retires now, thats a bad look. It would signal he doesn’t think the Bucs are good enough to win.

I'm going to be polite and ladylike with this situation and my words are, as followed:

GO FUCK YOURSELF UP THE DICK WITH A SNAKE, BITCHY BRADY. THAT IS, IF YOU EVEN HAVE ONE.

The question for Ramnation is….

Which runs deeper, the Brady hate or the Patriots hate?
Pats hate runs deeper for me, just because I hate Beli-cheat the most. If somehow he and Kraft disappeared from the team the Pats would quickly fall under the catch-all of "teams that aren't the Rams and aren't in our division".

With that said, fuck Brady.

Ok, so let me get this straight - you're saying you don't like the guy, no? Am I reading this right?
