This, I think we were all pullin for Sammy but you can't pass up a high potential qb who costs about a third of the money.
Now we can go to work on the o-line

Especially when he wasn't willing to take a pay cut.

If we don't use the cap savings, I'll be concerned, but for now, there's a lot of potential to fill holes.

Ugh. I really wanted to see Bradford destroy the league, cause he seemed like such a hard-luck, but good guy.

I don't want to cheer against him. But by the same token...

Schefter and Mort are not multiple sources, they are the same, so I'm not buying it yet. I believe that this is a possible deal for Foles and someone mis-heard Bradford being involved.
It's Schefter. If he's reporting it, believe it.

I like the move. Save 10 or so mill, get a pick, and both still only have a year left. I gave up on Sam after last years injury.

bradford is gonna blow it up in that hurry up offense - we will regret this trade

It's just gross. Granted, you just can't count on Sam's health anymore, but if a hurry up offense, with the QB-whisperper Kelly, Sam could put up some gaudy #s if healthy with some decent weapons.

Nick fucking Foles.

I hope we're flipping him before the draft to draft Winston.

I am chock full of snark right now...

I have to get it off my chest before I explode...

Sam Bradford traded from a team with no receiving talent and race baiters to a team with no receiving talent aand race baiters

AHHHHHH

How will St. Louis remember the Sam Bradford era?!

That's how I feel. I don't think some here think Foles has much potential, though. He looked damn good two years ago and should be in a scheme better suited for him here. That cap space feels great, also.

Baffling to say the least. I don't get it from a Philly perspective. Something else must be going on.

Sad day- but even worse as Jimmy Graham goes to Seattle! ugh!

I just don't see how flipping Foles makes sense - anyone could have had him it seems
why would someone want him for the equivalent cost of a Bradford

* fuck I loved me some Sam

Nutz. Now we have to go all in for Mariota???? Anyway - best of luck to Sam Bradford. Class act and a hell of a talented QB. Hope he can get healthy. If he does watch out...

I will say I much prefer this move over the possible Cutler/Bradford trade. At least Foles is young...

Apparently the Rams are sending a 2nd rounder to Philly in the deal as well, AND swapping first rounders?

Now I've gone to the bad trade side unless we REALLY load up on quality vets.

FML are they serious with this bullshit??????????
