The trade isn't that hard to understand guys.
We get foles and a 4th and next years 2nd
They get Bradford our 5th and a 13 million contract.
If Bradford plays less than 8 games they get their 2 back
If Bradford gets re injured we send them a 3rd.
NFL network just reported this as well. It's a done deal
What does "is a starter" mean? If he starts one game then we get a second?
From what I heard he has to start 8 games.I assume it means more than 50% of the games.
I assume it means more than 50% of the games.
Schefter:
Eagles will surrender 2016 2nd-round pick to Rams in QB trade no matter what. But will get back a conditional 2016 pick from Rams. It will be a 3rd if Bradford does not play at all; and a 4th if he starts less than 50 percent of plays.

If what I jusrt read on NFL.com is accurate, I think the Rams got hosed...Not only the swap of QBs but they also sawap 1st round pickas AND the Rams will give the Eagles a conditional pick in 2016...If true, that sounds like a real hose job to me...This thread has 600+ more posts, so there is probably far more clarity that I haven't gotten to yet...I hope my version is not correct... If it is they're betting Sam will go down and giving away a lot in the process...Foles better have a career year...
The problem isn't understanding the trade, its find the correct terms. Its hard to answer the question of 2+2 when other people are asking you 3-1.The trade isn't that hard to understand guys.

This is the trade:
Rams receive: Foles, 2015 4th(#20), and 2016 2nd(Conditional)
Eagles receive: Bradford and 2015 5th(#9)
The conditions on the 2nd are:
Eagles get a 3rd if Bradford does not play for them(but we keep the 2nd)
Eagles get a 4th if Bradford plays less than 50% of their offensive snaps(but we keep the 2nd)
Seems like an odd way to place a condition. I could see if the Eagles kept him and he didn't pan out but the Eagles being allowed to just trade him with no compensation due in lieu of the '16 2nd rounder? Doesn't smell right.
