The trade isn't that hard to understand guys.

We get foles and a 4th and next years 2nd

They get Bradford our 5th and a 13 million contract.

If Bradford plays less than 8 games they get their 2 back

If Bradford gets re injured we send them a 3rd.

Precisely.

NFL network just reported this as well. It's a done deal

If what I jusrt read on NFL.com is accurate, I think the Rams got hosed...Not only the swap of QBs but they also sawap 1st round pickas AND the Rams will give the Eagles a conditional pick in 2016...If true, that sounds like a real hose job to me...This thread has 600+ more posts, so there is probably far more clarity that I haven't gotten to yet...I hope my version is not correct... If it is they're betting Sam will go down and giving away a lot in the process...Foles better have a career year...

.

ok, i've had time to digest everything.

this is how i feel now.

FUUUUUUUUUCK!!!! FUCK! FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!

I assume it means more than 50% of the games.

Interesting. There is NO doubt in my mind Sam is the best QB in the NFCE if healthy. He'll dominate those pansy defenses. Sam is amazing with the hurry up offense, too. Looks like his knee has a good chance to screw us over again.

Schefter:

Eagles will surrender 2016 2nd-round pick to Rams in QB trade no matter what. But will get back a conditional 2016 pick from Rams. It will be a 3rd if Bradford does not play at all; and a 4th if he starts less than 50 percent of plays.

We made Philly our new bitch then. A 2nd is actually a helluva lot better than a 3rd imo. Took em to the cleaners.

Hope Sammy stays healthy, but Philly loses every game now.

Wow this trade seems pretty decent. At worst it ends up being Bradford, 2015 5th round, and 2016 3rd round pick to Eagles for Foles, 2015 4th round, and 2016 2nd round pick. We come out on top as far as draft picks are concerned.

No, we keep the 2nd no matter what. At worst we give them a 2016 3rd rounder.

This is the trade:
Rams receive: Foles, 2015 4th(#20), and 2016 2nd(Conditional)
Eagles receive: Bradford and 2015 5th(#9)

The conditions on the 2nd are:
Eagles get a 3rd if Bradford does not play for them(but we keep the 2nd)
Eagles get a 4th if Bradford plays less than 50% of their offensive snaps(but we keep the 2nd)

The problem isn't understanding the trade, its find the correct terms. Its hard to answer the question of 2+2 when other people are asking you 3-1.

The 2nd isn't at all conditional. It's guaranteed. The conditional pick is whatever Philly gets in return in 2016.

Seems like an odd way to place a condition. I could see if the Eagles kept him and he didn't pan out but the Eagles being allowed to just trade him with no compensation due in lieu of the '16 2nd rounder? Doesn't smell right.

Seems like they jwust don't need to have him as their starter to get it back. Strange indeed.

The conditions on the 2nd are:
Eagles get a 3rd if Bradford does not play for them(but we keep the 2nd)
Eagles get a 4th if Bradford plays less than 50% of their offensive snaps(but we keep the 2nd)

So then the Iggles get nothing is Bradford starts more than 50%?

I'm pretty sure they said we get the 2016 2nd regardless
