Not only a good player, but the Seattle defense always played with attitude.

Wagner would be a sweet add to this team.

It will be interesting to see how it works out. The Rams reportedly don’t want Jones to leave the field. Wagoner is not as good in coverage. So will he be a two down Linebacker? Do the Rams switch to a base 3/4 now? I expected this to fall through. It may help against the Niners, but it’s not a great fit for the Staley scheme. Wonderful insurance against an injury to Jones though.

I know edge and CB are probably more needed but damn, bobby will lessen the need for a top edge, which we won't get until maybe the trade deadline so I say line him up behind hughes and let er rip. Put one of or our safeties on TE's instead of wagner.

We've all wondered how wagner would have been on our team and now we have the chance to realize that, and given the fact that having him here would be epic, I say we have to go for it. This is one of those times where I say if it doesn't work out, it was worth the try. I am really interested in AD's opinion on wagner having his back. I'm guessing he said, fuck yeah!

The Rams if Wagner takes a contract like that could end up in my opinion with:

Wagner
Clowney
Bradbury

I think that makes our defense better the rush would be the same if not improved with clowney and the way Wagner can rush as an inside backer.
And while I've never been a fan Bradbury is better than Williams.
The run defense would be excellent
Wagoner and Clowney added to AD Gaines and Ashawn and Mr Jones ....yea that's balance.

Only one of those effects comp formula.

And Bradbury could be had for a low round pick or maybe even a Rapp

How do these free agent visits work anyway? Does Wagner sign his new contract before or after dinner? If after dinner, we won't know shit til tomorrow. I wish this would hurry up and end. Checking ROD & Twitter a hundred times a day is wearing us out!

Unfortunately, lots of people choose to talk, then sleep on it before making their final decision.

Seems selfish to me; I WANNA KNOW NOW!

Clowney if cheap and Wagner maybe. Bradberry makes 14.5 mil.

I doubt we get him for 4-5mil a year. It'll be around 10-12 probably.

Yea I was thinking in the $8M-10 range to come play in SoCal in his home area. But the question is do we sacrifice Edge & CB to sign Bobby when we already have Ernest Jones. It's a very tough call. I think we could build the team both ways but it will be interesting to see where we go.

Yea I know but way less than what Gilmore or someone in that talent pool would want will want. Obviously I'd want Gilmore or Howard.

I'd also look at Callahan or Fuller I believe both available but then you looking at 2 more comp picks if it was clowney and one of those two.

Think of what Wagner could do and teach Jones, Howard and any other LB. Instantly would toughen our run defense and make us more physical. And hell, London Fletcher played until he was 63 and was a good Lb at the end.

No for sure it would be amazing. Jones' development would skyrocket playing next to Wagz. And one other thing I really hope we consider...after losing big Whit and Bobby Trees AND Von, all of whom were amazing leaders in the locker room and on the field, Whit and Bobby especially being here for 5 years... I hope we understand the value that would come with Bobby Wagner playing MLB for us from a leadership perspective. It's tough to like SF or SEA players but I've always respected the way Wagner plays and the way he leads. The way his teammates speak about him, and coaches, etc. is special. It might be important to bring in someone with elite leadership intangibles like that, on top of still being a great player.

Amen brother! I never thought of the locker room leadership role!! Excellent point brother!

And we still have 4-5 more ways to create more cap if we need.
