True but it's possible so.ebody else is desperate enough to sign him. Especially one of those teams that takes a qb after Ward or Sanders to have a vet.Well, we know its surely not Garoppolo!

Raiders will trade with Minnesota for McCarthy as Brady bleeds maize and blue as the Vikings stick with DarnoldNot sure who that would be or the Raiders might plan on trading up too. Darnold seems the best available, but does Johnson really think that highly of him? The other names on the list are just of cast of castoffs and I realize that Johnson wants to paid in the upper tier even though he does not have any experience, however, IMO, the Raiders & the Jets would be the least attractive jobs although the markets are superior to some of the others.
I think he ends up in Miami somehow, McDaniel cant have another down year because Tua inevitably gets hurtTrue but it's possible so.ebody else is desperate enough to sign him. Especially one of those teams that takes a qb after Ward or Sanders to have a vet.
I was 15 at the time. He shook my hand and said “pleased to meet you young man.” He was HUGE!That's awesome! My wife ran into him twice at different stores and my mother in law was such a big fan, he left his hand written shopping list in the shopping cart when he was done and she went and grabbed it! My wife heard him tell his wife "You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear" when they were looking at an item to buy.
I would be stunned if the Vikings did this. IMO, I believe O'Connell is ready to embrace the J.J. McCarthy era and move on from Darnold.Raiders will trade with Minnesota for McCarthy as Brady bleeds maize and blue as the Vikings stick with Darnold
Johnson gets his young QB to mold and off we go

Don't see them trading JJ. I think they keep Jones as insurance for JJ.Raiders will trade with Minnesota for McCarthy as Brady bleeds maize and blue as the Vikings stick with Darnold

I think it's a get the serviceable veteran QB and build a super roster around him. They're going the Detroit route with a Detroit coach. This thought has me very intrigued. Following Michigan for 30+ years I'm curious asf about the possibility of this. However, I think Brady will do whatever makes the best business sense if he believes or doesn't believe McCarthy has what it takes.
McCarthy is a very efficient QB and they could use him to build the team with a potential to lead them eventually to the playoffs.
They're not keeping Jones, they only moved him up from the PS so he would count in the comp pick formula if he signs somewhere else. With the team for 6 weeks and couldnt even supplant Brett Rypien as the 3rd string qb.Don't see them trading JJ. I think they keep Jones as insurance for JJ.
Nice to see someone other than McVay lose coordinators.I see the Lions taking a big step back next year.
This year will be very hard on them.
Not sure that they find a good OC.
If Ben Johnson (expect) and Aaron Glenn (don’t expect) get head coaching jobs, they could try to hire some of the Lions’ position coaches for coordinator roles.I see the Lions taking a big step back next year.
