Just heard on radio that one of the talking heads said they will be breaking news today on his retirement announcement.
Not a shocker and hope he stays on with us as a coach.
What a great leader and man in general and thanks to him for his contribution as a Ram.

What an incredible acquisition this man has been to our Rams.

I wish him all the happiness in the world, and yes, by all means, try to sign him up as an assistant OL coach to work with Carberry in a new capacity.

Yes, thank you Big Whit for all the wonderful memories! It's been a pleasure watching you work. You are by far a class act and have been an incredible Ram. Glad that your are able to ride off into the sunset as a champ although you are also a champion regardless. We will miss you and I like many others can't wait to see you rightfully inducted into the Hall of Fame.

After watching him play this year it seems obvious he is going out at the pinnacle of his career. Selfishly I would welcome him back but I know he has given us so much and he is making a great move for his family.

I don’t see him coaching right away, if ever but, I’d bet he is available for his guys any time they want help.

Big Whit is a great man and great human being. He's got a great soul and is forever cherished and beloved in the Rams history.

I wish he can be a coach (honorary) anytime he wants to join in.

Andrew Whitworth is a Hall of Famer.

Big Whit will be missed! I feel like he was the building block to our rebuild when first signed McVay and instrumental in building the current Rams culture. Feel like we wouldn't be where we're at without Big Whit. It wasn't just the young players, but the other veterans looked up to him too. Having leaders like Big Whit and AD has made the Rams what they've been the last couple years.

Hopefully it doesn't come to this, but if we're lacking OL depth towards the end of the season, maybe he can pull a Weddle and come out of the bullpen for some relief. He was still playing at a high level and maybe he can't sustain another full season grind but can come on in a pinch if needed!

Thank you, Andrew Whitworth, not just for five great years, but for also being an integral part of turning this franchise around from being a perennial loser to a perennial winner and now a champion. You will always be a Rams legend, and I am so glad you are able to go out in style and as a champion.

Whenever he got hurt last year I shed a few tears as he laid there on the turf because I thought that was going to be the last snap we ever saw him play. Fortunately, we made the playoffs and he played that year again and decided to come back for one more season. So looking back at that moment I feel blessed to have gotten to watch him win a Super Bowl. It's been an honor having him on our team.

So far all we’ve seen is someone is going to make an announcement about Whit’s retirement, he didn’t actually say he’s going to retire, and no one else has confirmed this story. So let’s not jump the gun.
