We as in ROD. I'm sure Snead and them were on it and thought about trade down scenarios.Well, now we are in a grouping of guys we weren't really looking at before since we had that gap between 26 & 90.
So guys like the two Iowa St WRs, Higgins & Noel. Also WR's Jack Bech, Trey Harris & Jalen Royals. RBs Judkins & Henderson & Caleb Johnson, although Henderson likley doesn't last to 46. Mason Taylor and Fanin at TE.
So round 2 seems to be stacked with offensive weapons so it matches up with need. Hopefully some of the CBs slip to 46 as well. One of Amos, Morrison, Revel, and Thomas could be there.
I’d be happy with literally any of those offensive guys. Hoping for two of them.So guys like the two Iowa St WRs, Higgins & Noel. Also WR's Jack Bech, Trey Harris & Jalen Royals. RBs Judkins & Henderson & Caleb Johnson, although Henderson likley doesn't last to 46. Mason Taylor and Fanin at TE.
That’s where I would be looking, together with Will Johnson. One of Amos, Morrison, Revel, and Thomas could be there.
Which might be a windfall for the RamsThat’s where I would be looking, together with Will Johnson.
Pity that both Johnson and Morrison have injury concerns, as they would both have been first round selections otherwise.
Yeah, I meant us armchair GMs, running mock draft simulations. I haven't come across these guys too often in those simulations since normally we jump from 26 to 90.We as in ROD. I'm sure Snead and them were on it and thought about trade down scenarios.
I guess it depends on how you do your draft simulations. My approach is kinda what the Rams do: I find specific players that I like then move around to wherever they're ranked at. I've got a list of guys in the 40s-60s that I'm interested in.Yeah, I meant us armchair GMs, running mock draft simulations. You shoulga taken that mid-round nap!49 looks like a great spot to fill the slot threat on offense. You have Taylor, Ferguson, and Fannin from the TE group, and Bech and Restrepo from the wideouts. Rams got a good look at Taylor during Senior Bowl week. Ferguson is similar, big and physically gifted wideout who may develop into an all arounder. Bech is a Kupp type/size power slot who is more athletic than Kupp was coming out. Restrepo ran a shitty 40, comically bad tbh, but claimed he was running 4.5 range prior and that it was his hammy or whatever, so not sure where they have him slotted but prior he was probably a round 2 to 3 type.
It also looks pretty good for CB, better there than it would have been had we used the pick at 26 and not gotten a CB.
Could be the Rams like one of these offball backers too.
But tomorrow night I think I'm gonna be doing some shit with the coverage streaming on the radio. Fuck waiting around to see them just move back again.
I could also foresee a NT to spell Ford though it may come later in the draft at round 3. I’m sure it still stings Les and Sean they were a good NT away from winning the superbowl.Lots of guys available who will fill positions of need. No way on earth at 46 the Rams draft a DT, Edge, OG, C, or OLB, in my opinion. Gotta be OT, CB, TE, WR, or ILB.
