QB and LT in draft for 2026. Stud FA CB.
This may be an off-season when the Rams can and should focus on re-signing their own; and extending their 2027 free agent class (Nacua, Turner, Avila, Young, Evans, Dotson and, maybe Speights and Forbes) because 2026 looks like it may be an extremely weak group of free agents.

OTC has all the pending 2026 free agents, and you can sort-by-position. I don't see anyone close to a "stud" or even "top-tier" free agent at CB or OT.

Now some quality players, who are currently under contract, may get released for cap purposes but right now ... the Cupboard-is-Bare.

Manning looked awful today. Didn't look like he had a lot open but hard to tell. If you had to base him going pro based on one game, I'd recommend another year in college after watching today.

I doubt Manning comes out in 26 but waaaay too early to write him off. Difficult opener. Bet he is playing well by mid season and the hype train is speeding down the tracks.

My lord this is just crazy this is even a thread.

Wishingful thinking at its best.

My money is there are a dozen QB's that are going to be much better than this Manning.

And the GREAT news is our front office put us in a position to get one of the top three.

Now on to this SB drive this year.

GO RAMS!!!

I had never seen Arch Manning in a game before this one and had been relying on the hype the media was giving me about him, which is never a good thing to do.
The kid has some wheels on him and that's for sure. But for me, that's not necessarily a good thing in terms of durability in the NFL. I like QB's that can move around in the pocket and then deliver strikes like Matthew can. Maybe he will develop into a true franchise QB, but I'm not ready to gamble a ton of draft capital on the kid quite yet. He needs to be able to overcome Ohio State and those with similarly great defenses to be considered the best QB in the 2026 NFL Draft. Maybe in 2027?

Arch gave me Trevor Lawrence vibes. That's not good.

Some of y’all would give up on Donald the first season he didn’t notch 10 sacks.

Give him the season at least before calling him a lost cause. Just the unrealistic expectations of people are ridiculous. It’s funny to think that any osu QB is a 5 star means anything. See the long list of OSU must draft QBs than totally panned out.
He looks like a lost cause to enter the draft this year. That means the year the Rams have two first round picks won’t be the same year Arch Manning is the number one pick in the draft. I don’t think anyone is saying that he won’t ever be a good QB in college.

Watching Klubnik tonight, reminds me a bit of Mayfield. Tough kid, good arm...gutsy
He looked good at times, but finished with a completion percentage of 50%. He reminds me of Goff. He’s deadly with a clean pocket. Nussmeier got better as the game went on and finished with 73% completions.

Nussmeier is a check down machine on a team loaded with downfield talent
