He's a good dude and very smart player. Compare his press conf video with Alaric Jackson, yikes.

Hopefully they both do well, however I do hope Jackson doesnt play Sunday.

Been watching Anchrum at TC since Rams drafted him and seen his improvement from one TC to the next. I thought he was ready to break into the starting OL last year.

Thanks for the acolade Den, you make me feel like the tallest dwarf.

Tremayne Anchrum has experience in Training Camp & Preseason @ all four OL positions (LT/ RT/ LG/ RG) after being drafted very very late in the 7th rd in 2020. So many different posts & 2 different OL coaches but never being involved with the offense in the regular season until late last week.

TA sure sound & speaks very well makes me feel much better after a so-so preseason. We have been discussing & desiring large stronger OL'ers in this Ram Ol. We sure are not getting taller but being 315 lbs compact OL'er whose height is under 6-2 is going to be interesting. TA was a very solid OT for many seasons in several championship teams in college.
TA is used to playing on the right side so he does have that going for him.

I have no idea how @bubbaramfan :explode1:knew that center Brain Allen was going to get injured thus letting his prediction come true to where TA is now our starting RG. TA is the best decision to replace Shelton. Let us hope that we can get this running game going like TA helped Clemson. Its my hope that the Rams will have discovered an excellent starting RG for the next few seasons & end some of our concerns.

It feels crazy to say, but our OL might perform better with Anchrum and Shelton than Allen and Shelton.
I agree and I don't think it's crazy. Shelton was arguably better than Allen when he's had his looks at Center. More stout in there in the run game for sure. Even Faulk mentioned it in one of his interviews.

Hopefully Anchrum plays a good game and if he does then we should be ok vs Atlanta. They're not nearly the matchup Buffalo was up front.

Also and btw I think Ramsey matches up better vs Atlanta's weapons than he does vs Diggs. So I figure he'll have a bounceback game. I hope so at least.

We'll see. If Boom flunks out of the NFL the Rams are gonna look silly holding onto a guy for his whole rookie contract then extending him. He looked outright unprepared last Thursday and it was obvious his and Edwards communication was nonexistent.

As far as Allen goes. I'm not so sure he was all that bad. The whole left side of the line was bulldozed and Hav didn't have a great game either. Hard shine when everyone around you played poorly. Shelton had an average game but he alone isn't going do much by himself.

I'm gonna give it until week 4 or 5 until I really pass judgement.
