Allen Robinson is a bit of a meld between Woods and OBJ. He has the DAWG mentality of Woods and the sure hands of OBJ.

As a blocker, he'll put you on your ass and as a pass catcher... in 2020, he had ZERO dropped passes, in 2021, he had ONE dropped pass.

With Stafford throwing to him (hopefully, his timing improves a smidge because especially late in the season, Stafford had a nasty tendency to throw a touch behind guys), I fully expect that we'll be able to really spread the ball around.

I don't want Kupp to have to carry the load like he did last season again. That's a shit ton of wear and tear.

Spot on description dude

After reading some of this Bears forum, Bears fans mostly seem to think the Rams got a good deal in signing AR for only $15M per year. Majority over there think it's somewhat understandable that AR was frustrated with the Bears and his talent was being wasted. Saying AR could have a career year with McVay.

Initially the Rams wanted SPEED... hence bringing in DJax and drafting Tutu.

After this season, the Rams have seen in this offense that Stafford is better served with super sure handed, typically bigger bodied WRs.

I think that puts Tutu on the PS for another season and then likely released or shipped out, especially since he's got zero ST experience.

I wasn't super excited about the Tutu pick, but I understood their thinking.

Now that we have actual information, I think the Rams are much, MUCH better suited on figuring out Skowronek and Harris... Harris is such a SPARQ freak that if they can get him to really work out... OOF... He's got Calvin Johnson measureables, so yeah... a healthy Harris will most certainly take reps from Skow if they can coach him up.

I saw J. Harris in training camp.I don’t know what you have seen? Then seeing him in the preseason & game day roster you can notice how far ahead Ben Sko is ahead of Harris.
Ben Sko is interesting as a player.I saw some upside & downside. My concern is his ball tracking with the ball in the air. He is good with ball in hand & shorter routes.

J. Harris has a funky step on routes. He was never a 100% so there is that. Then again he was listed as a TE which imo would be his best position.
Does he bulk up or get leaner?

Just super surprised Woods is being traded. He has been a solid Ram

Put me FIRMLY IN the Van Jefferson camp.

25yrs old, 802yds as the #3.

He might have stuff to work on... Did I mention he’s 25?

I don’t know exactly why I’m down on him? I liked him a lot & fell sour about last 6 games.New season,so I’ll stay negative early needing to see him work on stuff

I’m just sad Robert Woods is gone.He was such a solid player & Ram.Just shows how tough of a business it is when you talk salary cap &players who have given over the 100% effort for the franchise.

Yep. It's (IMO) what led to OBJ's injury in the SB. Not blaming Staff, but I remember thinking as it happened, "shit, he had to put on the breaks for that, please don't be an ACL!" . Damn that sucked. Thank goodness Stafford was Stafford and Coop was Coop in that amazing 4th....

I'm sure it's the same as me, his effort on a few deep balls and jump balls was inconsistent. He tries to catch the ball with his body too much.

But, I do still like VJ.

Where do you get your info from?

Teams are calling about Woods, so I doubt he’s all that slow.

While the Rams are listening to calls it’s been reported that they are not actively shopping Woods.

Lastly, they expect him back by training camp.

It was an obvious move to me.

On another note I bet your excited most about ARob being a huge Penn State fan? I always liked him.

PR/WR Brandon Powell might be one element not discussed as to why Woods was traded. Not sure why I (& others too) have left Powell out of the wideout conversations. Powell does look promising whereas Atwell does not.

IMO Jacob Harris is far more WR than TE .....will be mainly used as a WR more than involved in the TE room. Not a real issue is it because, in HC McVay's mind, he does not really make any great distinction between the two units he just blends them & they get the same assignments.

VJ can play every WR position & is a smart player.

I guess watching Obj & what he was big.

What about Kyle Markway TE ?

If you want to watch some football this highlight video is real good.

Robinson has strong hands like OBJ. Tons of catches like that.

Beat Ramsey at the 3:10 mark.

This is posted earlier in thread somewhere. Damn good one.

Robinson has 3 rushes in his career. I wonder if that changes with the Rams?
