Liam Coen says Allen Robinson's involvement in Rams offense is secondary to fixing issues on offensive line

Ah, but it’s an easier fix.
One guy vs a complex unit of 5.

Yeah, ARob showed out today and I like that Stafford didn’t hesitate to pull the trigger to him.

If ARob continues to grow in this offense with Skow showing up and Van Jefferson coming back, this offense can get right in a hurry. Also, Hendo’s pass pro is elite and he’s a solid zone runner.

I think all of us would like a bruiser as a change of pace back, but Malcolm Brown’s no slouch.

But yeah, I think ARob’s demise has been greatly exaggerated

I think if McVay can find a RB who can carry the load for him this offense will take off. So if I'm in Les' shoes right now I am thinking how do I fix this continued cycle of fucking up the RB position.

I know McVay is probably strutting around Rams Park with a boner and CMC on his mind. But I'd go get a back with some physical threat to him, the kind of guy secondaries fear running loose. Like Hunt. He would draw those ILBs for sure which is what we're missing.

Fixing the offensive line would go a long way to getting this offense going. Now I know they can't completely fix it. There will still be some missed/poor blocks. But reduce those and Stafford can feel more comfortable looking ARob's way. There was some improvement today. 5 catches on 6 targets and a TD. Baby steps. Just keep getting better with that. If Arob can step up and be at least close to the guy we thought we were getting the passing game will be much better.

Robinson looked great today. Hopefully a sign of things to come!

He definitely looked engaged and intense. Not lazy and like a player that had "quit" like some speculated. I am sure he felt much relief and gratification to finally be producing, like a weight off his shoulders, hopefully things can snowball from here in a positive manner. I am happy for him, but much work lies ahead for this 2022-23 Rams roster.

IMO, Stafford needs to be willing to throw the ball up to him against one on ones every now and then. He gave him some shots today, and Robinson usually made the play.

We got a bye to hopefully heal and get some of our injured players back and then we have to beat the FN whiners.

I'm not sure of the status of our injured players but the NFC West looks like it's going to be a battle of attrition.

Just look his way every 1v1. He's usually gonna win that even if he's not open.

I truly believe the Rams may soon have an opportunity to field their best OL of the season. I know this sounds crazy, but LT may actually be better with Jackson starting, and RG could prove better with Aboushi than with either Shelton or Jackson at that position. If Allen returns to replace Kolone at Center, we are almost done with our re-build, ... only LG Evans needs his replacement, and Shelton may just be an improvement over both Edwards & Evans in this spot. Yes, it's a pretty positive take that I'm not sure McVay/Carberry will follow, but with a couple weeks to prepare, I like our odds better than what we've been going with. jmo.

You MEAN positive & negative?

I hear what your saying, but the positives out weigh the negatives.

IMO a negative that I’ll say is Kolone will no longer be a Ram soon & has done an amazing job from where he started as a Ram.

Sean Mcvay would give him the BIGGEST REWARD in phrase as his career is what The Rams under Sean Mcvay MEANS as a HC!!

I heard his interview & he can’t thank each & everyone of those guys that played upfront enough.

For all the Bobby Evans HATERS!! Just an example of his leadership or his dedication to get better to prove himself as a Ram was just running & diving in near the endzone on the pick.

I love Bonifay’d & what he stands for as a poster & Ram Fans. This season we have stayed away from any debates.

I’ll say so much blame has been put on The Offensive line.I just love the effort & Mcvay talked about what Bobby Evans has done this season as a Ram.
You know last season with all the Havenstien hate from Oldbutnotdead.
Bobby Evans in 2019 his rookie year at RT at the time.So I understand it.

The fact is Havenstien took over as the leader & had a O’Line(offensive) meeting. He called the group out so yes they weren’t preforming like they could have.

Thought I had the Dallas & Falcons games recorded so I can’t comment like the rest of all posters.

I’ve got to cheer for Tutu Atwell & just say I appreciate the concept of team(WE) & not ME. We are not always right as fans either.
