I like Joe Noteboom, but he has not improved like I thought he would.

IMO he struggles mentally with confidence. He is to passive. He is not aggressive enough & it shows as examples of his penalties.
His holding was a drive killer. He is trying to figure it out still.I don’t know if the film work will make him better? His false starts are more from nerves than aggression.
I’m glad The Rams resigned him.He still is an ascending player IMO. When he got hurt it changed the game.

This basically goes into Rivers post.

I need to go back and watch the past games. I heard against Dallas that A’ Jackson didn’t look all that good.He has been my favorite player.

Just to add from training camp I’ve said Powell is a poor man’s Deebo. His size & strength is what really separates them.I just saw how much & the ways Mcvay was using him.Taking some first team Reps. Sko is another about Greg Olson taking the time to throw with him after every practice.

A’ Jackson needed a quick post of how great he has played as a starter.Like I said I didn’t watch much of the Dallas game or Falcons.I just think he was The Best choice from the start to be The Rams starting RG.
When Noteboom went down I was wondering who was going to play LT.
When The Rams went with A’Jackson it made sense.Plus Noteboom has been struggling with Confidence. The opposite is true with Jackson.
The way he played at LT really changed the game.Les Snead & Mcvay getting Top UDRFA has been a blessing. The Rams depth has just gotten that much better.

Oday Aboushi really held his own. He almost had a Drive Killer penalty, but got bailed out. From there he settled in and did a nice job.
Mcvay said he just meet the young man a couple of weeks ago and says he is already out there contributing.

Mcvay named each player & what they meant & how happy he was for the group & the players for what they did against a tough defense.

You MEAN positive & negative?

I hear what your saying, but the positives out weigh the negatives.

IMO a negative that I’ll say is Kolone will no longer be a Ram soon & has done an amazing job from where he started as a Ram.

Sean Mcvay would give him the BIGGEST REWARD in phrase as his career is what The Rams under Sean Mcvay MEANS as a HC!!

I heard his interview & he can’t thank each & everyone of those guys that played upfront enough.

For all the Bobby Evans HATERS!! Just an example of his leadership or his dedication to get better to prove himself as a Ram was just running & diving in near the endzone on the pick.

I love Bonifay’d & what he stands for as a poster & Ram Fans. This season we have stayed away from any debates.

I’ll say so much blame has been put on The Offensive line.I just love the effort & Mcvay talked about what Bobby Evans has done this season as a Ram.
You know last season with all the Havenstien hate from Oldbutnotdead.
Bobby Evans in 2019 his rookie year at RT at the time.So I understand it.

The fact is Havenstien took over as the leader & had a O’Line(offensive) meeting. He called the group out so yes they weren’t preforming like they could have.

Thought I had the Dallas & Falcons games recorded so I can’t comment like the rest of all posters.

I’ve got to cheer for Tutu Atwell & just say I appreciate the concept of team(WE) & not ME. We are not always right as fans either.

Well in that case his 5 catches of 6 targets plus a TD & big 3rd down catch shows his radius.
It was nice to see Stafford finding more time from that O’Line Sunday.Ram Fans have been expecting that since his signing.
-I’ve been impressed by Robinson’s willingness to block to help hold the edge for some nice runs.I don’t see him taking a backseat as a starter.

But he is so damn slow. But once he gets rolling .....
Malcolm Brown IS slow when you compare him to Henderson or Akers but at least he can make some tough yards that Henderson and Akers can't get.

He's not easy to take down either.

Sometimes, I would think, it takes a little time to get the chemisrty between two coworkers to heat up to where you are working together more cohesively. It also makes sense that maybe Stafford had a little more time to get to the rest of his reads?

I truly believe the Rams may soon have an opportunity to field their best OL of the season. I know this sounds crazy, but LT may actually be better with Jackson starting, and RG could prove better with Aboushi than with either Shelton or Jackson at that position. If Allen returns to replace Kolone at Center, we are almost done with our re-build, ... only LG Evans needs his replacement, and Shelton may just be an improvement over both Edwards & Evans in this spot. Yes, it's a pretty positive take that I'm not sure McVay/Carberry will follow, but with a couple weeks to prepare, I like our odds better than what we've been going with. jmo.
You aren't the only one who thinks the LT position will be improved with Jackson. I read twitter comments on the Rams and quite a few agree with that. I don't know much about Aboushi. But a line from left to right consisting of Jackson/Shelton/Allen/Aboushi/Havenstein might be the best combination we could have this year. I would feel less uncomfortable with that group.

With a little luck Shelton might be available for the Tampa Bay game, although most likely it will be Arizona the following week. jmo.

I kinda think the light has just come on for ARob and there's nothing wrong with that being the case. He was impressive yesterday and physical which is a BIG DEAL.

I saw a guy that simply was trying to find his way in a pretty complicated offense with a fragile OLine. Only time is going to tell the story because with the exception of the Atlanta game there hasn't been the effort to work to ARob. Yesterday was none of that...it simply seemed to me that Stafford showed the confidence to throw to the guy. I'd rather think it's a concentrated effort for those two to work on their connection. Stafford had NO HESITATION to throw the ball ARobs way yesterday and in my mind that shows they put work in.

WE WAIT!!!

No Logan Bruss?
It would be great if he pans out what with the draft capital invested in him but his career is not off to a good start. Hope he doesn't turn out to be injury prone like another OL the RAMS invested a high pick in whose now lost for the season. Besides, Arcuri wears #61 and is from Michigan State. Long time fans from the seventies will understand why that gives me a good nostalgic vibe. He was, after all, picked at number TWO hundred and 61.

The late / great Rich Saul.

Waited until his 6th season to start (back-in-the-day). Then started for seven seasons, without missing a game; and went to the Pro Bowl in the final six of those seasons.
