I was born raised and will probably die in central North Carolina.
20 miles south of Greensboro.

By the time I was 10, I was falling in love with football.

Playing backyard football with my many cousins every other Sunday
at Grandmas'. (Just had to avoid the big rock in middle of yard)
This was the mid 70's

When we were inside we were watching NFL. where I lived it was
always the Skns who were on tv every sunday. I hated everything about that team.
This was of course long before the Panthers were even a idea.

So all of us had our favorite teams.
The honest to god reason I picked the Rams as my favorite team
was the Super Bad helmets and colors of uniforms.
At that time the blue and white uni's had to more of a Blue and yellow,
which I love.

So east coast or close to east coast. Give us your location.
Happen to see @Tano is from West Virginia and it made me wonder.
how many Easterly Rams maniacs we have at ROD

Doesn't have to be a long winded post ,like mine.
Just your location and how many years you've been a RamHead.

The first time I cared about watching football was for Leroy Kelly of the Browns. I was probably 5 or 6. But I didn’t pick a team until I was 8. Trading football cards with friends I had to declare my favorite team. I looked at my Roman Gabriel card and the Rams helmets and declared the Rams as my favorite team (easy choice).
Side note: Never traded that card but years later my Mom gave away my entire collection when they moved to a smaller house while I was away at college.
That was 1970/71 season and I’ve been hooked ever since (LA - Anaheim - STL - LA). The many rough patches make the success that much sweeter.

I’m on the east coast of Australia, does that count? Been a Rams fan for 43 years. Still have memories of Henry Ellard (and Ron Brown for some reason!) from those early days.

Born and raised in Maryland and currently live on the eastern shore just across the line in Delaware (bought here to hopefully retire soon. You don't wanna retire in MD, trust me).

My father had me in a Billy Kilmer jersey at some point in the mid 70s, and I hated it. Hated the cowpokes too and it seemed everyone loved those assholes back then. The Rams horns and those sweet royal and canary jerseys had me hooked instantly and I never looked back. That was 48 years ago as I recall (I'll be 53 next month).

Not many of us round these parts unfortunately. I am surrounded by Phi, Wash, Balt and Pitt fans. Yuck.
I raised my son to be a Rams fan and he is the only other Rams fan I know since losing my best friend a couple years ago.

I grew up just outside of Trenton, NJ and spent most of my adult life just over the river in Pennsylvania. When folks learn I'm a Rams fan, they inevitably ask, "how did you become a Rams fan?". True, there were the Giants, Jets and the Eagles (my pops team). Further away but not that far, the Steelers, Colts and Redskins.

We had a rotory antenna and because of our location we were able to get the NY Channels; 2 (CBS), 4 (NBC) and 7 (ABC) as well as the Philly channels; 3 (NBC), 6 (ABC) and 10 (CBS). So, long before NFL ticket, I was able to enjoy 2 early NFL games (sometimes different, sometimes not) and 2 early AFL games. Then 2 late games and often the NFL game was the Los Angeles Rams. As an 11 year old kid who played Pop Warner football or pick up games with the rest of the neighborhood kids on the greenbelt of the boulevard entering the neighborhood, I was impressionable.

What truly got me (besides the Giants and Eagles sucking and the Dolphins and Jets being my two older brother's teams) was the horns and the Coliseum. It didn't hurt there was a Roman and a Deacon playing there. Plus the TV, movie stars and other West Coast athletes shown in the stands every week. Hell, if the Rams were good enough for Jack Lemon, Kirk Douglas and James Garner, they were good enough for me. The other thing was it was often cold and gray outside my window but the Rams were playing in sunny, shirt sleeve weather on a beautiful field. I was hooked for life.

Live in Connecticut been a rams fan 47 years...Love watching every game with the wife been to SoFi a couple times . Went to home opener when they played the bears..Want to get out there again this year.. We will see

Funnily enough I was born, raised, and currently reside in Greensboro. Started watching football during the GSOT and stuck with the Rams through all the hard times. Honestly wasn't that hard for the most part since I like rooting for the underdogs and there was always that "maybe next year" theme until recent times.

Not many of us at all out here so nice to know I'm not the only one lol.

Danville PA. I think I know of three Rams fans from my town.

Settled into the Portland Oregon area and now live in southwest Washington state.

Grew up in Berks County PA, about 40 miles northwest of Philly. Started watching football, at least the earliest I can remember, I was in first grade, during the 74' season. That was when the Rams lost to the Vikings in the NFC Championship. I remember watching that game.

I remained a diehard fan ever since. Could probably count on both hands the number of televised Rams games that I have missed over the last 50 yrs.
