Ironically he might get spared due to all of the other crazy stuff nfl players are doing. They might just drift away from his story.

The NFL can suspend and it would be a second offense, but this doesn't seem like it would trigger all that. It was nothing more than an argument. That is not against the law.
UNLESS you're posting stupid shit on this board.

This is how I'm leaning. It was an argument...
With the woman dropping her TRO application, I'm betting that they've made up and are still in a relationship.
At that point, she probably doesn't cooperate with any ongoing DA action, so that eventually goes away.

The pregnant woman accusing Los Angeles Rams star Alaric Jackson of domestic violence has dropped her pursuit of a permanent restraining order against the football player.

Michael A. Goldstein, an attorney representing the woman, told judge Liza Bercovici in a Los Angeles County court room on Wednesday that his client “never served Mr. Jackson” and wished to “dissolve” the temporary restraining order that she got against Jackson on June 10.

Honestly, this whole incident is starting to seem pretty lame. Sounds like the two of them got into a stupid little argument, and at some point Jackson swiped at her phone barely causing any harm. But, then the cops show up and make a mountain out of a molehill. Also seems like someone else pressured her into filing the restraining order, especially since it never got served, was never put into force, and then withdrawn. I'm guessing this whole thing is a nothing burger and is about to just go away.
Have you ever been in a situation like this ? It doesn’t take much to be accused & taken in. There is the he said she said & your proven almost guilty & have to prove your innocence.
Just know I’ve been lucky in that sense, but filing for a restraining order isn’t all that easy. There is cost & time, plus then it comes to harm or communication.

You’re right. We’ve been trying to restrain you for years but eventually gave up.

You seem to be an expert on restraining orders...

Gotta agree with this.

The cops making a mountain out of a molehill? With a rich, black athlete? No, that couldn't be!!!

What the NFL needs to do is submit a press release that says, "nothing to see here. No action necessary. We've got more important shit to tend to like a Detroit CB in jail and other crazy things".

The problem with taking such a serious stand against domestic violence is you have to accept every accusation as possible fact until proven othewise. But there's got to be a counter balance for when it's realized to be BS, it's treated like BS without fear of recriminations of not taking domestic violence seriously. And that's gotta go on the accuser's record....like watch this one, she likes to cry wolf.

Nope. It actually seems like a fairly easy thing to avoid but what do i know.
Well having a nutt job within your complex calling the police on your old lady for pushing a laundry cart at her & he’s the victim. Is just an example.
An ex wife calls the police on her husband getting him arrested for releasing car break & waving a golf club at him ?
Myself I had an Alaric Jackson like moment, but totally opposite.Still I consider myself very lucky.
—I don’t live in a glass house, but still soap operas can be written in different ways.

Plus no restraining orders, but I’m to dumb to file for one. Then to cheap for an attorney, and I wouldn’t say I always trust my neighbors.Do show love for them, and the one basically was a squatter & had to show Faith & restraint.

My point is Alaric Jackson should be fine, but the unpleasantry isn’t fun.A wrong reaction to an action could be a step away.
