Yupnow that criminal charges have been declined, can AJ still be suspended?
That is my concern too, Mr POS Roger GodellIt's still possible due to conduct detrimental to the league. I don't believe Alaric was ever charged for his creepy secret video and the civil case was eventually dismissed as well but he was still suspended for it.
That seemed warranted though, this seems like it shouldn't warrant a suspension imo but you never know with Roger.
It seems to me, under the circumstance, that the NFLPA would have strong grounds to appeal any suspension that bob WITHCHkraft's butt buddy might issue. Is there any kind of "suspension schedule" that the NFL typically abides by, in issuing suspensions, discipline, etc.?
i.e. is there any way for us to know that, by a certain date, a suspension will or will not be handed down for this upcoming season?
To me, having to do without your starting LOT for several games is a major albatross on an upcoming season that's glowing with promise, so it would be great to know for sure if the NFL is going to suspend him or not.
You’re right.
And the players union.You’re right.
No matter what happens in the court system, the NFL has to answer to the public
I’d imagine the Rams have dug into this and know more than we do. Hopefully there’s at least enough clarity to be able to respond with appropriate decisions. I’d think the league would respect us enough to grant us that prior to camp, but who knows. Is there any kind of "suspension schedule" that the NFL typically abides by, in issuing suspensions, discipline, etc.?

No way AJ can get a suspension now... just zero grounds for it
