just finished re watching Kurt's bio on NFL Network. the man, the athlete, the teammate, the legend and the father and husband. there will never be another Kurt Warner. rewatching it almost brought tears to my eyes watching such an inspiring human being. any one of us here should aspire to be the type of man that Kurt is. As Eric Davis and Rich Eisen mentioned this morning on his show, Kurt should and needs to be accepted into the Hall of Fame next year. because as they stated Canton is not the 'NFL' Hall of Fame but the Pro Football Hall of Fame which should encompass all his years of football from the struggles as a UDFA and arena star to his miraculous accomplishments to his low points and then his resurrection, all acconished with the composure and selflessness of a man humbled by the opportunities God gave him. a selfless man with the love and support of every teammate and coach he's ever played with this is the most deserving man to be honored in The Hall. the honor is not supposed to be solely based upon on-field accomplishments but also for the all around player and man that person is. to answer another thread, yes my vote for favorite Ram of all time is and always will be Kurt and not just for winning the Rams only Super Bowl but also for how many young men he inspired to strive to become better and to become great. wether in St. Louis, New York or Arizona, Kurt Warner you are one of the most inspiring people I've ever seen and read about and would be first on my list of great men to someday meet. God bless you Kurt and your family and I might shed a few tears WHEN he receives his induction next year. From my favorite quote from my favorite childhood movie "Heroes are remembered but legends never die"...

Very well put and all true. That man was rejected and doubted so many times and just said I will NOT go quietly into the night! A fighter who accomplished greatness and remained humble.

He deserves to be in the HOF and will get in soon enough. But I have to disagree with including his arena days the players are just not on the same level.

I think he should be there, but only because of what he accomplished with the Cardinals.

Being one of only a handful of QBs to win a superbowl and get two different teams to a superbowl is a great accomplishment.

Had he never resurrected and played with the Cards, I don't think he'd have a shot at getting in. Which sums up how I feel about Kurt - I appreciate that we won the superbowl and that he was the QB to lead us there. But unfortunately, he really only had two good seasons with the Rams when it comes down to it, and while I don't want to start a debate, I believe it was absolutely the right thing to do when picking Bulger over him. To me, he doesn't resurrect his career without Boldin and Fitzgerald.

So following that logic, I appreciate Kurt and the superbowl, but he had far more good years with the Cardinals, and more than anything I remember getting trounced by him over and over and over and over and over again.

Good guy, not so sure about his wife, but as far as a player - meh. He destroyed us too many times for me to have this undying love for him.

He needs both halves of his resume to get in, but that's an odd position to take. Both MVPs, SB MVP and his lone ring came with the Rams.

His calling card is being the ringmaster of the Greatest Show on Turf.

When T.O. can get 1800 yds in a single season with the likes of Tony Banks throwing to him and no other serious receiving threats on the team... not TEs, not RBs... THEN he can go ahead of Rev. Ike.

Until then, Bruce is at the head of the WR class.

I mean, dood had HoF, HoF, then Pro Bowl QB throwing to him in Montana, Young and Garcia.

IMAGINE (well, don't because just seeing Bruce in that uni makes me sick) what Bruce would have done with all that QBing.

TO would've put up big numbers with anybody. He was just about impossible to cover one on one.

I don't like the guy, feel conflicted about his HOF candidacy because he was such a lousy teammate, but his dominance can't be denied.

Watching the tape of Kurt Warner A Football Life. I still kind of amazes me that in 1998, we watched Tony Banks play dreadful football, while we had a future NFL MVP and Super Bowl MVP sitting on the bench. Maybe it helped that he waited until Tory Holt, Adam Timmerman, and Marshall Faulk showed up. I believe London Fletcher was the last guy from the 1999 team to leave the NFL. He is out of the NFL now, right? I'm still mad at Lovie Smith for dumping London Fletcher. One thing I learned was that Mooch is the guy who released him from Green Bay after his first week there. Now Mooch laughs and says Kurt should obviously be in the HOF.

A lot of AZ fans would argue that his calling card was what he did in AZ. And frankly, it was pretty effing amazing what he did there.
