A lot of AZ fans would argue that his calling card was what he did in AZ.

They would hang their hat on an almost Super Bowl win. They've got nothing else.

And frankly, it was pretty effing amazing what he did there.

Not that different from Rich Gannon in Oakland.

True, but the Rams aren't all that far ahead on that track.

Gannon had one great year and one good year in OAK.

What I meant was Warner actually did things in AZ that the franchise never had done. I think they hadn't had back to back winning seasons or back to back playoff years for something like 35 years. Essentially what we Rams fans had to deal with in the 90's Cardinals fans had to deal with from the 70's to when Warner got there.

Really tough time for a fan base.

Watching the tape of Kurt Warner A Football Life. I still kind of amazes me that in 1998, we watched Tony Banks play dreadful football, while we had a future NFL MVP and Super Bowl MVP sitting on the bench. Maybe it helped that he waited until Tory Holt, Adam Timmerman, and Marshall Faulk showed up. I believe London Fletcher was the last guy from the 1999 team to leave the NFL. He is out of the NFL now, right? I'm still mad at Lovie Smith for dumping London Fletcher. One thing I learned was that Mooch is the guy who released him from Green Bay after his first week there. Now Mooch laughs and says Kurt should obviously be in the HOF.

To be fair even kurt said he wasn't ready when he was at the Packers. he even refused to go in for a drill because he was clueless.

After he had exploded onto the nfl scene favre said something like - that's not the same guy that was at Packers camp.

Didn't Kurt also lead the Frankfurt NFL Europe team to their championship? You're talking about a guy that played in NCAA, Arena league, NFL Europe, NFL, went to two SuperBowls, won a SuperBowl, and didn't get into pro football hall of fame first ballot? Seriously?

literally dominated, became champion and became the best QB in every league and type of football he played. and again the HUMAN aspect and off the field work is supposedly suppose to be a large factor when getting into the Hall too. and we all know his off field work is as great as his on field work was

They both will eventually get in but i dont see either getting in this year. Wr usally have to wait a while unless your jerry rice
Yeah i disagree concerning Holt. Although their career numbers are similar, IMO Bruce's career will be viewed and voted as more of a legacy to the game(than Holt's career).

Hope they both get in, obviously.
