I think this is just the nerves on the 2nd and 3rd stringers. They need to get some playing time for the experience and calm their nerves. Great move by McVay. Rams now can advance further into the playoffs.

It sucks to play against the 49ers and expect to lose. But this game is not over yet. Rams are still hanging around.

Jimmy G has some good qualities but, makes some bad throws when pressured. He has players open in the zones.

I'm of the opinion that mobile QB's make the best backups in the NFL because when they can't run an offense effectively with their arm they can make things happen by improvising with their legs...while the defense is having to adjust on the fly.
