I'm not disagreeing there, based on the outcome of the play. But Goodwin is as responsible for getting injured there as Countess is. If you're going over the middle to make a catch, you probably don't want to catch low, given the fact that defenders have such a small window where they can legally hit an offensive player.

I would argue reason and even temperament are welcomed in place of severe emotional overreactions.

Load of crap if he gets suspended for that though. Terrible decision by Jimmy G to throw it. Countess tried to go low and Goodwin ducked trying to make the catch.

The hits we have seen guys getting suspended for have been obviously intentional. Ugly hit....but what do you do there? Just give up the middle of the field to piss poor passes?
