I'm of the opinion that mobile QB's make the best backups in the NFL because when they can't run an offense effectively with their arm they can make things happen by improvising with their legs...while the defense is having to adjust on the fly.

I agree.

Agreed everyone wants to harp on Everett yet when Goff throws him the ball he catches it

I watched Everett make the kinds of catches in camp that he's dropped all over the field today. The dude deserves the flak he's gotten thus far.

Rams have key guys out. Someone among these backups needs to step the F up. It's been ugly, with probably Thomas doin the best job thus far.

It's not really unwarranted that people are givin Everett flak.

Everett had a chance to really step up and so far he hasn’t been up to the challenge. Hopefully he plays much better in the 2nd half.

Our tackling has to improve and I want to see grabmypole on the ground
It’s like Mannion and Everett are two north sides of a magnet. They just can’t get together no matter what.

Woof, those refs aren't wanting to throw a flag on anything. Back to back plays with blocks in the back

Peterson and Hill are definitely earning their spot on the roster.

I think you guys need to ease up on the WR's a little. Mannion isn't throwing a ball like Goff does (with touch) and has a tendency to fire it in. Plus, timing on routes by a rattled QB who throws d@mn hard has to make it hard for them to catch it....

This is a tough game to watch, so thinking about next week.

Surprised by Seattle so far - still down. Falcons vs Panthers, Saints vs Bucs still really close too.

Kind of confused about which seed we would prefer or which team in WC round. Could be Saints, Panthers, Falcons, Shehawks, depending on outcomes. Panthers have a tough D and Cam. Falcons have some weapons on offense as do Saints. Would be nice to crush Hags again.

Who do you want most? Least?

No. They need to play better. And I suspect one or two of them will in the remaining game time.

Big picture.
He has a skill set that has been working and is going to work going forward, no matter what happens today.

He’s had a couple wide open...not so much on tight throws

Please 9ers keep him!

Yes. And they need to play better. What I said is true about the QB.

Good god, we seriously need to draft oline heavy in the back half of the draft. Aside from Blythe I think our backups are next to useless.
