Simplified : more years on the deal means teams can call your bluffDoesn't make sense but ok.

YesI would respect an athlete much more if he was like look, I want to win but this franchise hasn't shown me that. Either trade me to a winner or pay me a lot more to stay here and suffer. If he said that, wouldn't the reactions be different?
They can call a bluff anytime that's kind of what makes a bluff successful.Simplified : more years on the deal means teams can call your bluff
It could when i make you bitches sing the Michigan fight song with me when he wreck the Eagles in the playoffs next year!I don't know if your ego could handle that.
This might be blasphemy, but we may be fortunate that Donald retired and we aren't paying top dollar for what would be declining production. Really, no DT would be worth north of $35M a year which is what he probably could command. So what can the Cowturds trade Micah for? A 1st and a 2nd?

If it's an actual bluff. But it's more likely to be a bluff if the player has no leverage. Being on the last year of your deal is leverage. Having multiple years on your contract is not. They can call a bluff anytime that's kind of what makes a bluff successful.
Said the same thing elsewhere. Glad one of his contemporaries didn't get a deal like this. This might be blasphemy, but we may be fortunate that Donald retired and we aren't paying top dollar for what would be declining production.
