I don't think he's necessarily done as he had quite a few pressures as a rotational pass rusher. He's definitely done as a starter though. I think he'd be a hell of an addition if he came cheap but we all know his Daddy will change his mind for the money :laugh1:
The Von we know is done. Can he earn some more money being a shell of himself sure. But the Von the Destroyer is done and gone.

I don't see him falling that far but I'd love to snag him. Good news is even if he doesn't fall someone like Burden, Egbuka, etc will.

I'd rather draft Burden or Egbuka over him here honestly.

You Watch tape on Egbuka? He looks like he’s made for our offense, crisp routes, blocks, good hands, speed to sepárate, can read a Defense. Guy looks like a McVay WR

He's perfect for what we here at ROD mostly say we need. He can block he's got great speed knows the route tree and can win outside and after the catch.

Definitely. He gets compared to Robert Woods a lot. Like Verse, it just all fits together.

Don't get me wrong, he's definitely not the same player he was with us at all. He's definitely squarely in the situational pass rush role which is why I said cheap but maybe should have said dirt cheap lol. I highly doubt we even pursue. He did provide good pressure when called upon though and his shell is better than some in the NFL unfortunately so that's why he'll eventually get snapped up by some other team. Oh well, at least we dodged a major bullet there.

Yet another example of a player lying about wanting to win and just wanting more money. I actually am very curious how the contract breaks down. We could see 50-60+ million cap hits the last 2 years.
I don't think he was lying. I think the browns made it known that they wouldn't move him and couldn't even if they wanted to (the dead money was outrageous) so he settled for bigger money.

If he wanted to win he wouldn't sign this but hey I don't fault a guy for wanting money. Everybody always talking about player power and they can force trades yet he signed with a shitty team. He's gonna make more millions this year than he'll get wins in the 6 years of this contract.

Myles Garrett is a chump now in my eyes. Why do all this bullshit of crying, pouting, and stomping your feet about wanting to win only to crawl back like a little bitch for the money? Just be fuckin honest, not like that would kill his leverage for a contract since most teams would meet his demands. I hope when the Browns suck ass as they consistently do, the reporters ask him how winning feels :laugh1:

But he just wants to win! Damned clown and it's a shame cause he's a great player.

Agreed, but I think it's a little more complex. He's under contract for the next two years and the browns basically told him outright that they wouldn't move him. He might have just figured he might as well take more money if he's gonna be stuck anyways.

Gotta say he's full of shit. If he truly wanted to go somewhere to win, he would have held out. He caved to the money hence money outweighs winning. This is why taking these talks to the media makes players look like fools if they don't follow through although he's now an even richer fool :laugh1:
