Hoecht is not 310. I’ll never believe that.
Yeah, that's kind of lazy reporting. Even the Rams' site has Hoecht at 267 lbs.

He was probably around 310 when he was playing D-Line up until the mid-point of the awful 2022 season.
Probably dropped weight heading into 2023 when he became a full-time Edge.

If he wanted to win he wouldn't sign this but hey I don't fault a guy for wanting money. Everybody always talking about player power and they can force trades yet he signed with a shitty team. He's gonna make more millions this year than he'll get wins in the 6 years of this contract.
Well, I don't purport to know what his true motives were but $40m is probably enough to tolerate losing.

So wondering with free agency upcoming, what positions are worth upgrading? I'll throw another name out there just for conversation sake, center, Drew Dalman......yes I know we have Beaux Limmer but apparently Dalman's one of the best centers out there. A beast of a run blocker is what I read plus after seeing Limmer fail in the NFC divisional round, would it be worth the upgrade? Would it be an understandable move if other FA targets dry up?

In his own words he just wanted to win. He told us all his motives allegedly.
Yeah I know. But some don't believe him. I'm not judging whether his motives were BS or not, just that if you pay enough money, I can see selling your soul.
