What's ironic is Gesicki probably isn't good enough for us given that he's a bit weak over the middle. But he is better than Tutu in that regard. As a TE on bad teams he's out produced Tutu more often than not. We'd all love if Tutu had 22 TD's in 7 years and averaged 4 catches and 40 yards a game over his career.
1 year, 11 million. How did Tutu get anywhere near this

I think Hollywood is the better player personallyAgreeing to take a one year deal for a young player likely requires a slight over pay.

Being excited with either seems a big stretch to me. Brown has done more over his career, much much more, but has been hurt this past year and the previous two years in Arizona were his worst aside from the last year being injured.Tutu had far more production this year and is younger. Now granted Brown was hurt most of the year, still, he collected a check. I'd take Tutu over Hollywood easily.
Gesicki is the 3rd highest rated TE ever to attend the combine (since combine began? in 2003) ranked only behind Bowers and Winslow. What's ironic is Gesicki probably isn't good enough for us given that he's a bit weak over the middle. But he is better than Tutu in that regard.
What Tutu does have of course is the speed. But it has to translate to matter, and in this league if your top skill doesn't translate consistently then you're not a starter.
As a TE, anytime you're on a team with the best passing QB in the league I don't think that's a "bad team" to be on.As a TE on bad teams he's out produced Tutu more often than not. We'd all love if Tutu had 22 TD's in 7 years and averaged 4 catches and 40 yards a game over his career.
