Based on the last two games for Atlanta, this is my best guess. Obviously could easily sweep the Saints, but they could also lose at home to the Panthers or lose at the Jets.

Final record: 7-10

Guessing either way that pick is going to end up being in the 12-18 range, barring some injuries that make them a truly awful team the rest of the way.

Final record: 7-10
That feels like the ceiling to me.

Rams picking at #12 and #23 this week
Just by way of reference.
The Rams were definitely interested in Brock Bowers in last year's draft (tried to move-up); and were reportedly interested in Tyler Warren in this past draft.

The 12th overall pick would have been high enough for Bowers in 2024, and/or Warren in 2025.

Don't expect the Rams to go Tight End in 2026. Just wanted to point-out the level of talent available.

Jahmyr Gibbs went at #12 in 2023 ... Jameson Williams in 2022 ... Micah Parsons in 2021.
And ... AGAIN ... just for balance and perspective ... the 12th overall pick was Henry Ruggs.

Yeah, that's high. REALLY HIGH compared to the Rams picks during the McVay era. 34 picks higher than T. Ferguson this year. 7 picks higher that Verse last year. 24 picks higher than Avila the year previous to that. And 92 picks higher than Bruss in 2022!!! We could get somebody REALLY talented with that #12.....but my money is on, it'll be a little higher than that when Atlanta finishes playing like dogs.

Wasn’t AD #12?

Yes and that was Snead but pre-McVay. Those two could go anyway. Offensive weapon. LT. Shutdown CB. Snot popping safety. Trade up. Trade down.
Pre-McVay is an important distinction. It seems the Rams under McVay most often go offense early. The exceptions were 2019 with Taylor Rapp and 2024 with Verse and Fiske.

Every other year was offense first. I'd like a shutdown CB but I'm doubting that under McSnead.

Fisher had a big part in putting together a nasty defense when he was here.

His offense will not be discussed, for obvious reasons, haha.
Just to add...Goff was all Fisher. There was some story about Fisher and his son on vaction in the mountains or something like that, and they honed in on Goff watching tape of players, and had to have in. That's the only offensive player I know that we can credit to Fisher.

Note: Small chance (maybe big chance) I am remembering this all wrong...

I wouldn't doubt Snead... he traded two #1 picks for Ramsey so he knows that value of a shutdown corner. And this year the Rams have no choice but to draft a good one.

my hope is a badass LT AND a fantastic corner with the #1's ...

and mcvay always seems to go for the dedicated high cerebral player....

I don't think Snead goes Offensive Tackle in the 1st round with Jackson getting a big contract and McClendon playing so well in place of Hav. If Stafford plays another year or Jimmy g steps in then it's a good spot to take your QB of the future. That said that may not be McVay's style, having a young rookie highly drafted QB sitting behind a veteran starter. That brings its own set of issues. They could use one of those picks to pry a veteran QB off of someone, but who? Too many variables in play to predict anything at this point.
With Adams maybe only playing one year of his contract and Atwell gone after this year and Nacua finishing his 3rd season Snead may load up on Offensive skill players in this next draft.

'Nasty' ... I would agree but none of those Defensive Units were better than good, in my opinion.

Too damn inconsistent and undisciplined given how much resources the Rams put into that side-of-the-ball.

None of the Rams' Defensive Units when Fisher was the Head Coach finished in the top-10 in points allowed.

Not one was better than 13th (out of 32 teams).
In fact from 2012-2015, the Rams were between 13th - 16th every season in points allowed. That's just a shade better than League-average.

If the Rams had played top-5-to-10 Defense, even with a conservative and limited Offense, some of those seven-win seasons might have been playoff seasons.

We have an unbelievable amount of free agents this upcoming offseason and a LOT of super star players going into the last year of their rookie contracts. I don't think even McSnead will have a clue about what they want to do in the draft until April when free agency is all but done. I could see our first several picks going just about every direction possible right now.
