Yeah, even the Cardinals, as mismanaged as they've been, have more WS Championships than both the Dodgers and Yankees (sad to say that combined, you'll juuust get one over us - and it won't be for long.

I don't think winning it all in 2020 was anytime less than in other years a team won the series. (except 2017)

But it just has a strange feel to it. Like the strike shortened year in around 1981 or 82.

And we got robbed in 2017. Why one can't lose the trophy after the fact is beyond me.

Like the Rams in 2001. We got robbed there also.

I guess it sounds nice to be the Washington Redskins of MLB. Washington won 2 of their 3 Superbowl Championships in strike shortened seasons. Two of the last three Dodgers Championships (over a 59 year period) came in years that were anomalies. 1981 and 2020. You certainly have to call them Championships and you don't have to put an asterisk on them but.....
