Spanos separating himself a bit from other penny-pincher owners. I'm as shocked as anyone. Did not think he had it in him.

He wants a trade because he's unhappy with his contract. Last year of his deal and only has a base of just under $5 million. Rams could trade for him and extend him and drop his cap hit by a few million like they've done before. But everything I read on this guy is he's a very big one trick pony. Can absolutely rush the passer which we need. But he's a huge liability in the run game.

Not sure we can afford another guy like that especially when he also wants a phat raise.

Hunter only carries a 5 mill base salary and would cost the Vikings an 18 mill dead cap hit.
If they’re willing to take a 12mill + hit just to get rid of him that would say something
