LOL. I found it, I just thought Zach Tom was a misspelling of Zach Thomas!
Well, on the bright side, Johnnie Johnson & John Johnson did not come out the same year, but were both excellent safeties for the Los Angeles Rams.

Well, technically you're right. It is a misspelling of Zach Thomas. Not that I expect that to make you feel any better though.

Maybe this will :clinkingbeer:

With pick 242 of the ROD NFL Draft, the Panthers select,

Mario Goodrich, CB, Clemson I’m not buying this kid will last this long in the real draft. I think he stands a decent shot on landing on somebody’s 53 this season. Carolina drops the mike.

Good job everybody.

With the 244th pick, the AZ Cardinals select Leddie Brown, RB, West Virginnie

20220419_184729.jpg

DRAFT PROFILE: BIO

Leddie Brown was a Smyrna High School star who was a four-star recruit and the 255th player in the 2018 class. is the 6th leading rusher in West Virginia history. He has logged 2888 yds and 27 TDs over the past four years with over 2000 yds over the past two.
Brown was named to the All-Big 12 preseason second-team by Athlon Sports, Lindy’s, and Phil Steele. In 2020, he was an All-Big 12 First-Team selection.

SCOUTING REPORT: STRENGTHS

  • Real tough powerful back who has an old school feel to him
  • Despite not having great time speed d we have never seen him caught from behind

  • One of the best after contact runners in college football - almost impossible to bring down one-on-one in space, regularly sidesteps would-be tacklers and uses offhand to use oncoming defenders' momentum against them without slowing down significantly
  • Demonstrated the ability to track the ball over his shoulder. Good vision and patience for screens.
  • Brown is a natural runner who shows good lateral agility
  • Nice soft hands - an asset in the passing game - Brown caught 31 passes in 2020 for 2 scores and in 2019 caught 17 passes
  • Runs with excellent balance and is difficult to stop between the tackles
  • Has good burst to and through the hole. A patient runner with good vision and burst for the cutback. Squares his shoulders and can knock the defender back onto his heels. Good leg drive and forward lean to gain extra yardage after contact
  • Displays very good feel as an inside and outside runner with an above-average vision to make sharp cuts - good patience· and footwork to pick through defenses
  • A classic north-south runner with little wasted motion
  • Versitile has even been used out wide to take advantage of his receiving ability

SCOUTING REPORT: WEAKNESSES

  • Limited speed not explosive.
  • Not very quick - has to rely on power and struggles with running outside
  • While Strong has good power between the tackles maybe best suited to a full back role
  • Lacks creativity in the running game - needs to be more dynamic
  • Too indecisive and hesitant at the line of scrimmage and sometimes misses holes

245) Houston Texans @den-the-coach is up
246) Cleveland Browns @TK42-RAM would be advised to head back to his post

With their 246th and final pick of the ROD Draft the Cleveland Browns select ...

Chris Paul, OL, Tulsa

40 TIME: 4.89 SECONDS

DATE OF BIRTH: 11/19/1998 AGE: 23.5

Strengths
Best asset is his strength and disposition as a run blocker. Gives a strong initial punch. Plays with good leverage bends at the knees and sees what he's hitting, showing the ability to roll his hips into the defender and drive him off the line of scrimmage.
Has the feet to adjust when he anticipates what's coming. Effective trapping and bends at the knees with adequate core strength to absorb the bull rush. Can clear a path at the second level if he hits the target.
Dips shoulder and moves his feet to get outside leverage when needed. Strong and low coming out of his stance, effective in short-yardage situations.
Solid positional run blocker who flashes the nasty demeanor and killer instinct scouts covet.
Above-average football smarts and general intelligence. Plays with a nasty streak. Solid character and work ethic.

Weaknesses
Susceptible to speed rushers. Has only average quickness off the snap and doesn't possess the acceleration or arm length to corral defenders once they cross his face.
A short-area blocker with limited range and doesn't consistently get to the second level. Will play undisciplined at times, especially in space. Lacks a finishing attitude.
Heavy footed and lacks elite lateral ability- will struggle with speed rushers and footwork is a work in progress. Bends too much at the waist and overextends himself- often caught lunging and leaning.
Loses leverage battles and plays with high pad level. Can be late off the snap.
Whiffs on blocks after beaten initially and lacks range and lateral quickness. Plays too high and without proper leverage, pad level and can be passive.
