I'm not sure why a team looking to repeat in the Super Bowl would want to mess around with an already good thing. The Rams don't need to trade away top young talent who are reaching the peak of their careers, Gaines at 25 & Robinson having just turned 27 are exactly what we need in the middle of our defensive front, and the addition of Wagner at LB is the hammer which kills any opposition rushing attempts in the middle. Bobby Brown is our 2'nd year developmental DT who is likely to share a rotational role with Marquise Copeland who appeared to beat out Hoecht for the job mid-season, ... the Rams are set at rush defense imo, although what they can do to improve is with a 5T pass rushing DE/DT, and that is why Morgan Fox' name is often brought up.
jmo.

Agreed. Guys tend to make big jumps after 1-2 redshirt seasons with the Rams. It’s entirely possible that one or more of Lewis, Garrett, Hollins or even a draft pick takes the edge/OLB rushing spot big time and doesn’t look back. Enables us to wait until mid season to evaluate what our needs are and address that spot with a big Snead type trade - could be an Edge or could be CB, iOL, etc.

Yup. The Rams were 7-2 mid-season before Von Miller even became a factor, ... add a draft pick and adjust later if we still find it necessary. jmo.

The Hawks are at a point in their rebuild they should consider a different GM Coach tandem. Pete and Schneider appear to be stagnant in their roles. Maybe a Matt Millen and Kotite pairing would be a better fit?
Yeah I wasn't surprised by the rebuild but I was surprised Pete wasn't fired. If he isn't the guy you want there for the next 5+ years then you make the change. Good coach but he's really looked like a dinosaur since the division went young at HC. His OC hires have been shit and I doubt that changes plus he's got less talent now on offense. Seems like a weak decision to retain both of them either way.

Campbell is still a stud. Nice signing for Baltimore.

I can't wait until McVay gets to call plays against the Chargers with Reeder on the field.

IMO, the Chargers have had a stellar offseason with the exception of this signing. Reeder is good at blitzing and that is all IMHO. He missed a ton of tackles, can't cover a bed, plus made a few mistakes on special teams including against the Lions jumping that onside kick and not corralling it.

FWIW, I understand he's a cerebral player, but I'm glad the Rams have upgraded the position and Reeder is no longer an option for the Los Angeles Rams.
