I've read it too but this makes no sense. He's recruiting guys to sign for Tampa but he's trying to get traded too? I dislike the guy but that makes no sense to me.

Those were my sentiments exactly. Now we all know he is a douche but this would be the biggest douche move ever.

It’s not on NFL.com so I won’t believe it until I see it reported there.

Yea that's why I said I will ride it out as just another rumor but if there is validity to it I'd be shocked this would be the cherry on a crazy off-season and the biggest asshole move ever.

Is this true? I don’t believe it. Plus the Dolphins just traded their picks. They don’t have what’s needed to make that trade.

It does align with the reports that he was set to retire from the Bucs to take over the operations of the Dolphins (kinda like a super Elway)

Next best thing is to transition to being the GM by playing there a year which would also give him time to get settled. Plus, for Giselle's career, Miami is a MUCH better location than Tampa.

Cowherd was talking about it today. Miami was Brady's first choice when he decided to leave New England. His wife preferred Miami to Tampa. Reportedly, his feigned retirement was to force a trade.

Miami has their 2023 first round pick and 2024 first round pick. That's the Rams way. Throw in Tua and I could see that happening. I will say this much. If it does happen start printing the 2022 NFC Conference Championship Gear for the Rams.

That's interesting. I doubt Arians would want Tua. He can't run Arians preferred deep passing game. Arians would be the wildcard in all of it. He wants the world in return for
Brady. If the Bucs GM traded Brady would Arians retire? Trading Brady instantly takes the Bucs out of the contender picture.

Miami needs draft picks to rebuild. They aren't that good of a team. They aren't Brady and Hill away from being better than any AFC west teams.

Everybody's got a cousin in Miami
Everybody understands the impromptu
Dancing in the heat to the beat
That turns your clothing clammy
Everybody needs to have a dream come true

Man I hope the Rams sign someone good soon. Plenty of options left out there. Seems like teams like what they see in the draft if they are taking their sweet time. With that said, I hear Bradberry is up for trade and the Giants are willing to eat some of his salary. We should definitely kick the tires there as he'd be a good #2 CB.

People get what they want to out of stats/information. These can be spun any way people want but it's information on their performances last year.
I think it's less spin than it is poaching numbers.

Mahomes air yards per attempt was more than half a yard more... he was 13th, Tua was 23rd. The spin would be pointing out that teams were going to extremes to keep KC playing underneath.

Picking up Teddy Bridgewater wasn't a random backup move, from stuff I've listened to. Legit chance he could be competing for the starting job.

Tua may be fine, but he's never going to be anything special, imo. Overhyped.

You don’t even need stats to see that a guy like Mahomes has a stronger arm than Tua or Bridgewater. Can either throw a deep pass? Yes, probably. Can either through a deep pass with the ease of Mahomes or Stafford? No. It’s even more difficult for them to do it on the move while being chased.

And yet it isn't only about arm strength and speed of the WR. Kupp led the league in 20+ yard plays and we all know his speed. It's about timing and being able to hit the WR in the best spot to make the bigger play and the offense design. Those stats I posted don't claim, at least I'm not because of them, that Tua has a bigger arm than Mahomes although Tua had few problems in college with big pass plays and yes I know full well the college game is different than the NFL. All these stats show is that his average depth of target for the time period chosen was deeper than Mahomes. He's capable of throwing the ball down field to WR's much more so than a lot of fans give him credit for. Will he repeat the feat this year? Not sure, nobody knows tbh in part because nobody knows the offense that their new coach will install. But he's got probably the fastest WR tandem in the league so it's hard to imagine the Dolphins won't take advantage of that speed in many ways if the coach is as smart as he's made out to be.

Again we can all see stats and take from them what we want to. I looked at them and thought that even though they had a bad OL and little in the way of weapons outside of Waddle Tua put up some impressive numbers in that category. Others thought they were fake or manipulated to make him look better.
